Can ELO ratings be used as a source of potential bets?

Coventry have just signed one of Swansea's better players in Matt Grimes, so that might swing things more in their favour. -

Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade?) were the only team interested in winning in the first half, if it goes on like that they should get the goal. 1pts win 8/5 Bet365 P/L:-3.6pts Took a wordie but they got it. 2 pretty poor teams by Champion's League standard, Young Boys lost 8/8 and didn't look interested until they went behind. -

Unreal, they missed an open goal from half a yard out 🤢 18 Champions League game and only 2 without a goal in the first half. -
6 non runners from the original field of 13 in the 6:30 Kempton, bit weird? Some kind of protest?

Portsmouth have won 4 in a row at home scoring 13 goals in the process, the atmosphere under the lights is normally a big boost at Fratton Park. Hopefully they can get the better of decent enough Millwall. 2pt win Portsmouth 11/8 Bet365. P/L: -5.2pts. Added a point as Millwall with some injuries according to their forum and Portsmouth rested players at the weekend targeting this game. Mind boggling that they were able to win 4 home games in a row before this, they were completely useless tonight, -

It definitely feels like Monday 🤪 At least I got the date right -
Diplomatic Ash 2:20 Plumpton (2/1 general). Was backed last time in better race, now drops into a class 5. Showed good level of form over hurdles at this track when splitting Idy Wood and Bob Bob Ricard (both produced mid 120's RPR's since). The fav has already finished 2nd 3 times, so look very beatable. Drop back in trip on this deep ground could be the way to go. Hopefully outclasses this lot with the jockey taking off a useful 5lb. 1pt win 2/1 P/L: + 6.5pts. Completely woeful effort, scrubbed along from the off and barley left the ground at most of the fences ☠️

Nothing jumping out at me again so just a little favourites acca. 0.5pts around 3/1 Bet365. P/L: - 3.2pts. So frustrating from Sunderland, they turned the game around then the manager told them just to sit back and defend and got what he deserved, could have easily gone on to score another couple of goals 😠 -

Ginnys Destiny 1:50 Cheltenham (4/1 Betway). Last chance for this one, feels like now or never today. Loves it around here and gets his ground, I don't think Huntingdon was ever going to be his track last time. Has the best form and imo would win if still the same horse as last season. 2pts win. 4/1's just went with Betway but Bet365 have him on boost at 4/1. P/L: +7.50pts. Not good, give up on that one. -

They drifted before the Swansea game and could have been 3-0 at half time, so I don't know! They have just spent a purported £10m on Tom Cannon, which seems absolutely bonkers to me, about 5x too expensive. Diaz looks a good loan for them though, he needs to get back to scoring goals. -

Aquila Sky 2:38 Doncaster (33/1 e/w Skybet 6 places). Little nibble on this one, been in tracker a long time. Couple of poor runs to forgive (can't see an obvious excuse) but is well handicapped on old form now off 105 (won handicap off 123 4 years ago). Did run 2 good races last season at Catterick and Chepstow (should have won the latter but idled on the run in). Hopefully the little break and return to hurdles does the trick but could just be gone at the game based on last 2 runs. 0.25pts E/W 6 places (also taken some 50.0 on the exchange). P/L: +9.5pts Farcical race with half the hurdles omitted, stayed on a bit in the home straight but never quite looked like nicking a place. -

Losing on the nod or the jockey dropping his stick on the run in is somewhat different to just having picked the wrong horse. If I'm not getting any money back, at least I can have a moan about it 😁 -

Crikey, as big as 33/1 last night. Racing Post say he was sold for a little over £1,000 in October, so could pay for himself a few times over if this lands. -

Just a little treble for me. Derby have just lost Curtis Nelson to injury, a key defender, so they could be set to concede some goals Swansea are powder puff. Norwich were beaten pretty easily by Sheffield United and hopefully Leeds do the same to them. 0.25pts treble around 13/2 Bet365 P/L: -2.7pts Finally land a treble, Norwich are so bad...maybe try attacking? -

Chasingouttheblue 2:30 Ayr (9/2 Bet365). Tip from X. Step up in trip expected to suit. 1pt win P/L: +10.00pts Wins, battled well and looks to want even more of a stamina test.

Doubt it is real value (Sporting Life big on him scoring) but Murillo feels due a goal and I'll take some 14/1 to score anytime. 0.25pts Murillo to score anytime (14/1 general). P/L: -4.35pts. Thought he was going to do it in the 102nd minute, but couldn't get the shot away. -

Struggling to see a bet in the Championship, maybe lots of draws! The closest I got was Bristol away at Coventry, they are a pretty bog standard team but that is probably enough to beat Coventry at the moment, if they drift to 11/4 i might have a nibble. Fascinated to see how one of my favourite players Isaiah Jones gets on at Luton, could improve them no end. Decided to do a BDA instead (big daft acca). Almost landed several of these last season (1 goal off 60/1 shot, so they are possible). 0.5pts @ 33/1 Bet365 P/L: -4.1pts Out on the first leg, fair play Bournemouth were excellent all game.
