Realitatea July 23rd-26th 2010 Event Rapid Bucharest - Vaslui Selection Vaslui Strength 10/10 Date 23/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 5Dimes @ 3.77 (Back) Vaslui did a very good job in the break bringing some solid new players and and a coach that was once part of Real Madrid technical staff. It's obvious that they want big things this season. At Rapid there is a certain state of tension at the moment and their coach, Sumudica has little experience and not a great squad at his disposal this season. I think the odds will drop even further, but Vaslui certainly has value at the moment, this also considering that Rapid proved to be quite pathetic in the friendlies they played(lost a lot).

Re: Romania Liga 1. Realitatea August 6th-9th 2010 Universitatea Cluj – FC Vaslui 3rd round in Romanian 1st division and this is the first game. Both clubs have high expectations in this championship. U Cluj despite being a new promoted team wants to reach top 10 this season. They have the money, they have the players but so far they didn’t managed to be a team. Homogeneity is low. New signings didn’t convinced yet. So far they lost 2-1 home in first round vs Steaua after scoring for 1-0 from a penalty (and that was their only shot on target the whole game) and lost again 3-1 away at Brasov (again they scored from a set play!). Their defence in bad, two keepers played in first two games and both made mistakes; the players from defensive line Buhus, Izvoranu, Daniel Munteanu and Belosevic don’t get along together and allowed opponents at least 5-6 chances per game so far. In midfield there is the “brain” Bostina (came from Dinamo, good player but old and not with a strong winner attitude) is not having a good season so far. Acosta is ok, Delgado (came from Vaslui) is bad especially on defensive moments and rest of the players are inexperienced . In attack Niculescu (came from Dinamo) is top scorer so far with to goals (one from penalty and one from free kick) while the other striker is set to be between Lemnaru and Machado (both inexperienced at this level). They have no important missing for this game. Vaslui comes after two bad results in first rounds. Lost away to Rapid 2-0 where they create only one chance the whole game and 1-1 home vs new promoted team Targu Mures. They dominated the game, had 7 clear chances to score while opponent scored after a free kick. But they didn’t showed the wright attitude and again homogeneity was on low level. If you look at the name the team must be in top 3 this year. Vaslui is a reach club in Romania, one of the fewest with no money problems and with big wages players. Defensive line with Campano, Papp, Gladstone and Rivas looks on paper very strong but so far they are very poor. For this game will miss two very important players if not the best ones: Wesley and Gerleem! So far both teams looked very poor on defensive at set plays. Time of the game is 17:00 CET and will be very hot. Game is not played in Cluj but in a Alba Iulia (160 km between those two cities). Pitch is bad in Alba Iulia. Referee is Augustus Constantin who sometimes makes big mistakes! He sometimes lets the game free and sometimes whistles everything. Second half starts and Craiova scores after a corner at the first shot on target in that game. Steaua is down for a few minutes, Craiova has a counter and scores for 2-0! Nice goal and the fans enjoy it. But side referee decides is offside (one of the biggest mistakes so far in this championship if not the biggest!). Craiova players can not believe their eyes and fiasco begins for them. They started to lack concentration and to make mistakes. Steaua wins 2-1 in the end while Craiova players leave the stadium with tears in their eyes. Melodramatic? Yes, but this is the key to Branesti – Craiova game. Will Craiova’s players manage to get over that wrong canceled goal? For sure is big difference between Branesti and Craiova. Craiova has better players on every position. If it was an ideal situation then would have grab it in a second every odd above 1.8 on Craiova. But now the only possibility is live if they approach the game with a good morale. Branesti is a new promoted team that plays the home games in Buzau (around 100 km) so there is no home advantage. The team is the same as the one that played in second league last season, using the same 4-4-2 system. Homogeneity is great. They played two official games so far and both were lost. Home 2-3 with Medias when they showed a poor defence especially on set plays but were ok on offensive play and 0-2 away vs champions CFR Cluj when the game was lost in 3 minutes in second half. CFR played poor and that made them played good. They lost central defender Velicu out injured in that last game so now substitute Marincau (tall players, good to play high balls but very poor on low balls) will get the chance to become regular. This is their only missing for this game. Craiova played two official games so far: 0-0 home vs champions CFR Cluj, when they defended excellent giving CFR not a single chance to score but they were poor in ofence and 1-2 lost away at Steaua game that already mentioned. Gargorov is injured and won’t play next game but the substitute is at least same level. Coach can change tactic between 4-4-2 and 4-3-3. Both teams are poor defending on set plays. Craiova is better offensive on set plays. Both teams are trying to slow down the game if they score first. Last year Branesti got in majority of the games help from referee and will be no surprise if referee Ovidiu Hategan will do the same for them again. Referees, in majority of cases commit errors against Craiova! Game will be played at 20:45 CET and temperature will be ok. Good luck with your bets!

Tomorrow I have a clear 0-0 (Targul Mures- Unirea) just little scare that could be 1, but under is more that 80% secure, Unirea is very close to "history" with no players payed in last few months, with best club manager that will go for sure, they'll be a finish team, if all players acuse club for money.

Don't want to start an argue here, but there are at least a few questionable sentences in your preview. First of all, how do you know Falub is such a poor coach? This time he has better players at his disposal comparing with the situation from last season when he trained Alba Iulia. Only the time and the results will tell us how he is. On the other hand, Unirea has really good replacements by the way, which is one of the main aspects of their successes. The big problem for this match is not the fitness condition of the Unirea's players, but their possible low morale because of the difficulties experienced by the club. It remaines to be seen how they will react at this. Goodluck.

It is my personal opinion about the replacement of Unirea. And I think they are no match for regulars: keeper Grigore, defenders Mehmetovic, Bruno Fernandes (don't forget his last games and his gifts given to opponent striker), Marinescu (he is regular only 'cause Apostol is injured), Dale (if Bilasco will miss a game then god knows what will happen to Urziceni ofence).

In both they conceded from a set play. Coach will play again 4-5-1 tactic and will use the same players. No one is missing for this game. Except may be the manager Piturca who didn’t traveled with the team and rumors are saying that he had a fight with club owner and he is about to quit the team. This will be a huge blow for Steaua and club will finish again on 6th place. But this is only a rumor. Unlike last season Steaua plays now more organized, they become stronger in defence which was their major problem last season. Also they are starting to show real danger on corner kicks and free kicks. New manager bought many players and team is 70% new. This means both teams suffer from homogeneity. As a conclusion Steaua is favorite in this game. 1.8 odd can be increased on live bets as Steaua is not the team to score quick. Morale is good on both sides. Last year teams met for the first time and at Ploiesti ended 0-0 in last round when both were in safe positions. Astra comes to this game still without number one choice for goalkeeper because Miron has some issues to solve with his contract, replacement will be new comer Ebede, a strange keeper with very poor foot play. Right defender Matel has an injury problem and he is questionable. Replacement should be Craciun who showed poor performance in last friendly vs Syria national team. Stratila has some problems and he worked with the therapist but should be recovered until the game starts. This season Astra has a new coach Stoichita who was at Steaua last season. They had good results in friendlies, started good in first game home vs Dinamo leading at half time 1-0 but lost the game in 93rd minute after a huge defensive mistake. Next round traveled to Bistrita a got a good draw 1-1 from a late penalty. At home they play 4-4-2 tactic with same defence as last year, midfield line is 50% new while attack is brand new. They got good addition to the squad for this season and they also have good bench players. Astra is having no problem with money because they got a rich owner. This season will try to reach a spot in Europa League but will be satisfied to be in top 8 also. Fans are few and also attendance is lower at their game except when they meet top teams. Medias comes to Ploiest after reaching 4 points in first two rounds, winning 3-2 away on neutral ground vs new promoted team Branesti and a 1-1 home vs Timisoara after leading 2-0. Team looked good on offensive play but poorer than last season on defensive. First choice keeper is injured and 75% won’t play but replacement made a great game vs Timisoara saving his team 6 times including 2 times 1×1. A weak spot should be Parvulescu if he is going to play again as left defender because he is a left midfielder and the defensive is not his best. Coach Pustai will play 4-2-3-1 tactic with two good defensive midfielders. Best player so far in these two round, Eric will play before the only striker Aganovic. The strikers are again a weak spot for Medias. Silvasan is still injured, new addition Batin needs more training sessions and Litu is having a poor performance so far at Medias. Both teams did not won so far in first two games. Sportul lost both games while Bistrita got only draws. For home team is very important to start winning points or they will have very hard time in relegation battle. Sportul Studentesc is new promoted team who kept all players from last season and welcomed back two great players who for the past seasons were champions with Unirea Urziceni, played in Champions League and for national team. The team weakness is the defence. They need one good central defender and one left defender and replacements in all four defensive positions. Some stupid coach decision was to play last game with replacement keeper not the regular one and team conceded five times! Midfield is best line at Sportul. Good starters and also good bench players. They can create from out of nowhere and have good technique. Attack is good for first league also. many players from this team played already in first division. Coach uses 4-4-1-1 tactic which is the same like last year. Problem now is that there are too many offensive players in starting line up. Bistrita comes to this game to not loose. One point is better than nothing. The team has new manager this year and lost half of the team before new season but managed to keep best player, striker Moraes. Problem with Moraes is that he wants to leave, some clubs were interested in him but price was high. So morale is no good and last game played very poor. Team is changing and new coach needs time to do it. Many new faces in line up and homogeneity is poor. They create few chances per game and are poor in defence when playing away from home. Also important fact is that distance between cities is big and romanian teams have some problems with that. Game will be played at 17:00 CET. Should be clouds over the sky and 30 degerees temperature. Sportul has a younger team and might do better on these circumstances. Referee is Adrian Comanescu and Sportul had some problems with him last 2-3 years in second league. Good luck with your bets!

Re: Romania Liga1. Realiatea August 20th-23rd 2010 Preview Sportul Studentesc – CFR Cluj This should be a great game to watch but league decided to place it at 17:00 CET and will be very hot. Sportul is crazy team. Their defence is weak and the only way they can win points is to score more than opponent. They can not play compact in defence. Can not wait for opponent to come and hit on the counter attack. Goalkeeper is young and talented but without experience. Center of defence is bad. On wings both players are more offensive than defensive. From midfield to the strikers situation is good. They have good and mature players who can put in danger every team from romanian first division. Coach will use 4-2-3-1 tactic and will try a more balanced game. Will try to keep the ball and have possession. If the first 15 minutes they will not concede a goal then a win is possible. No missing from Sportul Studentesc for this game. Team also signed one great player for this level, Patrascu but he doesn’t look fit fr this game. In last decade Sportul never lost home against CFR Cluj and in two games they got two draws, both 1-1. CFR Cluj is having problems in offensive line. Both strikers Kone and Bjelanovic will miss due to injuries. Replacement Traore also showed some injury problems this week but at least one half he can play. Bud should be for sure regular in offensive. He does not have good technique and Sportul’s defenders should be able to block him. In midfield Muresan is back on team after missing last match due to national team game against Turkey. Also Kivuvu who missed last game is back on the team. CFR played bad this first four rounds and managed to get only 5 points. Away from home they usually play mediocre football and rely mainly on defence. Coach can use 4-3-3 tactic again but we think he will have a surprise for this game. They won’t rush to score early goal and will wait for Sportul to do mistakes. Atmosphere seems to be bad at the club lately and players are starting to get nervous because of their poor results. Game will be played at 17:00 CET and will be hot in Regie. Referee is federation’s favorite Radu Petrescu. Last round referee had wrong decisions against CFR and may be will try to make things better for away team. Good luck with your bets!

Team got 4 points so far after from two difficult games like Urziceni at home (1-0 win) and Vaslui away (1-1). Sfarlea is still injured along side with Dan Matei (who scored the goal against Urziceni) while Dan Roman will miss due to susspenssion. Coach will use again the 4-5-1 system. Defensive line is poor and almost always saved by a great keeper so far. Both wing defenders are poor while both center defenders are slow but good on high balls. Midfield works a lot on defensive play but rarely creates something. Strikers so far scored no goals and they are always fighting with two defenders for the ball. Against a good defensive is good o take Targu Mures will not score but Dinamo does not have a good defensive. To be mentioned is that in both games disputed at home so far opponents finished the game in 10 players. And for tomorrow game referee is Istvan Kovacs, a referee with whom Dinamo has always trouble. Dinamo is high flying after the great comeback from the game against Rapid. They were down by two at half time and managed to win 3-2. Again they showed poor defence.. Central defender Garat will miss due susspenssion and this could be the moment when Goian will play regular again after an injury. Right defender Homei does not belong to first league club and could be replaced by Scarlatache. On left after Pulhac left Bazzi was unsure so far. Midfield is at good level. Teen sensation Torje will be regular on right side and his opponent Topic will have a hard time. On attack coach can choose from four players that any team from first division would like to have them. Dinamo has no problems to score against teams that defends with 11 players. Also take in consideration that Dinamo can come from behind in second half! Game will be played at 17:00 CET and will be hot but later temperatures are lower in that region (around 28 degrees).
