Had email on 8th October confirming qualification and that final is 6th November at G Casino Luton - 5.30pm start, be there 5.00pm latest. I'm not sure why you feel the need for such negativity, that's really disappointing for me to see. Please accept my apologies if my performance has lead to you feeling like that. The full results will be up tomorrow morning, and emailed to all finalists. From what I understand, the final went well. We left with 4 to go and only Vic left in from PL. I managed to spike a river 3 times I think to stay in, and was finally undone when my AA got beaten by JJ with a J on the flop and no A on the river. :lol Enjoyable and friendly tournament with most of us knowing a bit about each other from playing on-line in the league. Good banter at the tables, and was nice to cash too (5th for $250) which just about covered petrol and expenses with about $30 extra lol. Dont know how Vic3485 ended up as we had to get off, due to long drive back, but he was running well with 4 left in (get posting mate!!) Thoroughly enjoyed the game and glad to meet up with other pl'ers some new and some not...Table banter was very good... As you see i still got some learning to do in Live games...and unfortunately only managed a 4th result for the forum... Made one mistake and lost loads of chips and limited my play.. But I guess thats poker..... Good game by Andy, Avonlady and Riverdu... and hopefully i will learn more for Next time.. So beware..Overall really enjoyed the game plus a reasonable result.. Thanks James for arranging the tourney...now looking forward to next season !
