Mr Intensity
A few Qualifying match bets to start the weekend off with: BUTTON v Coulthard William Hill @ 2.00 What genius priced this up? No way the McLaren have improved that much in 2 weeks. They will still be off the pace of other Michelin guys. When they are off the pace they tend to fill it up with juice, which is nice. DC also still sucking on the one shot game. Everyone knows I like the BAR this season. Better over a single lap than the long runs. Button should be pushing for a top 6 place while DC will struggle to make top 10. R SCHUMACHER v Montoya Stan James @ 2.00 Just feel that Ralf's style suits this track better than JPM. MASSA v Fisichella Stan James @ 2.00 Massa did the business in qualifying against Fisi last time and I see a repeat. He beat Fisi in practice, ehich doesn't mean a great deal, but hey, it's better than him being beaten. I actually see Massa being seen as a qualifying specialist in a couple of years time. Sir Puntalot
Malaysian Grand Prix Mr I, I agree with your top 2 but I can never bring myself to back "loony" Massa. :(
Mr Intensity
Re: Malaysian Grand Prix I know he's loony but bloody quick and I think he can hold it together for 1 lap. P.S. What were Sauber doing in Australia? Massa was quick early on but faded, thats fair enough. But what about Fisi? He was playing with Heidfeld most of the race then starting pumping in 1.26's - at the time only the Ferraris cruising and Alonso could match that. Mr Intensity
Re: Button Button should be pushing for a top 6 place while DC will struggle to make top 10. Button = 6th DC = 9th Nearly :rollin
Mr Intensity
Re: Button Anyone think that Renault have played games with Ferrari in terms of fuel? I know Alonso is out of the game but if Trulli is two stopping and gets a lighting start, podium is possible.
Guest green00
webber Right im getting up early giving up my usual sunday lay in so i thought id have a little interest on it .....now i may be wrong but I reckon that Webber is a great price at 65 @ Betfair only 21 @ Hills I know that Schumacher is likely to win but if he slips up and webber gets the lead or even just hangs on in 2nd for a while i reckon i should be able to lay it off to cover my stake ....well thats the plan :ok
Mr Intensity
Re: webber Make sure you get that lay in before he pits ;)

eh101
Renault / Ferrari Fuel Not sure Renault have duped Ferrari into changing their fuel strategy but wouldn't be surprised if Trulli is 2 stopping. Weren't the Renaults very easy on their tyres in Melbourne (in contrast to other Michelin runners) and so might feel they will suffer less here as well and therefore make a 2 stopper more workable? I'm wondering how heavy the McLarens are with fuel. In the absence of any performance I think they're likely to fill them up and let the race come to them in the latter stages. Coulthard's been pretty successful at doing the unspectacular 'keeping it on the black stuff' type of drive to pick up some points in the past although that strategy does rely on the car making it to the end. Anyone any idea of whether that McLaren is still as fragile as the reports in Melbourne indicated?

Exactly what I'm thinking. McLaren have been doing pretty few laps in practice so I believe the engine reliability is still an issue. Guest mattsthebest
Re:Will they finish? Based on conservative driving, car reliability and team tactics, which drivers would you say have a high probability of finishing? IMO Jaguar, McLaren and to a certain extent Montoya seem highly volatile choices - Montoya because of his aggressive nature. Would I be wrong in saying that the Renault's and BAR cars seem to be reliable overall? Alonso at the back of the pack does seem to be a good pick when you consider he will avoid most of the first corner madness.
Guest green00
Re: Re:Will they finish? well thats that gone tits up what a tosa cant believe it now hes got a puncture :o and a 10 sec penalty for speeding in pits :clap CAN IT GET ANY WORSE :cry
Mr Intensity
Re: Re:Will they finish? Matt, the Honda engines in the BAR have been exploding all winter, also giving Sato the need to charge does not equal high chance of finishing IMO.
