Chapman
Out with the Tues/Thurs games and in with this lot, diary will need to be amended boss. :ok http://http://www.stanjames.com/poker/Promotion.aspx?xml=Home_Promotions_FreerollMadness.xml The shorts and shades have been pushed to the back of the closet for another year and its back to dark drizzly mornings and early evenings. Oh where has the summer gone... Well now that we'll all be spending a lot more time stuck indoors you'll be needing something to break up all that 'sofatime'. So after much soul searching and consulting with our resident nerd, we've gone a little mad and scrapped our longest serving Freerolls to give to you,'Freeroll Madness' Now instead of having just three Freeolls a week to look forward to, you can log in 7 days a week and find at least two Freerolls every single day! We're kicking off on Sunday 1st November with 3 Freerolls at 12, 4 and 8pm BST. Tournaments can be found under the Scheduled - Freeroll tabs. glceud
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Need about 2000 raked hands a week to get into that lot, reckon some of them might be little more than sit and goes:eek
Chapman
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Yeah, will be interesting to see how the numbers over the next couple of weeks, I think there may be good value in this Sundays 1k freeroll due to the short notice, we'll see. :ok
Beekeeper
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! V sad to see the Sunday Roast go. It was probably the best regular freeroll around (worth $20-$25 a week). However it is dressed up, they have cut the total prize fund from $5050 per week ($1500 on Tues, $1000 on Thurs and $2550 on Sun) to $3400 and massively upped the entry requirements. :spank:spank:spank
Chapman
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Forgot about the Sunday Roast (probably because I never played it) so when you put it in figures like that Bee, I can see why the regular's are going to be unhappy about the whole thing. :sad

avongirl
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Thought it was odd that Sunday Roast wasn't up in the lobby yet when I was looking for GMT times.
Lastime1
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Can't believe they've stopped the Sunday roast. Enjoyed getting the 100 raked hands for $2500.00 freeroll. 250 loyalty points seems a bit much for a $1000.00 comp + others. 100 raked hand for roast was only about 60 points when did 100 raked hands. Wont be bothering playing on Stan James when loyalty points gone. :cry
avongirl
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Don't really want to litter the diary with Stans freerolls so I think I'll just put the Sat and Sun evening ones in, but if numbers make the others look value let me know. :ok

avongirl
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Noticed these daily ones only getting around 60-70 runners and paying FT so seem to be reasonable value. Going to add them into diary. :ok
glceud
Re: ** Poker Diary Week Days 17th - 21st May ** Dont think there is much point keeping the Stan James "freerolls" in the Diary as the ammount of rake required to get the loyalty points is pretty high, in fact your far better of with a rakeback deal at any other microgaming site. Doubt if any one still playes them unless Beekeeper or Kippe do.
avongirl
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! I've got them in already for the next couple of weeks so will discontinue after that unless anyone disagrees (except perhaps the Sunday one). I guess if you rake a lot on there you know about them anyway. I did use some points earned from long ago on one and suppose I've still got some left. Have to say that I don't often use/cash in points on sites, perhaps it's something I should take more notice of.

avongirl
Re: StanJames New Freeroll Madness Schedule! Couldn't see the Sunday Masters in the lobby any more when I looked last week, so assume these have been replaced, unless anyone knows different?
