Re: BBOTD - June 4th 7.50 Ripon - Legal Eagle - 1 point to win Topweight, down in class from a 0-90 at Chester's May meeting, (and down a pound in the handicap as a bonus) where he finished a creditable 4th on firm ground. Should relish the soft ground today, has the plum number 1 draw With the non runners it's a small field........I expect him to make all along the rail and have the speed to pull away in the final furlong........ His main rival appears to be Mission Impossible who is going the other way, rising up the handicap, he won a 0-70, was second in a 0-80 and todays race is a 0-85.........he'll have to improve again.

Re: BBOTD - June 4th 7.40: Kempton: Galeota Fairly quiet start to year running down the field in class 2 handicap and then a Group 2 at York, however ran a lot more encouragingly finishing 4th in a group 2 at the Curragh 11 days ago. Record at listed level reads 1-1-1-2, record at 5f reads 1-1-4(debut run) and all wins to date have been achieved with Ryan Moore in the saddle. A lot in favour tonight and even 4 box shouldn't be a big negative as first 3 home last year in this race ran from stalls 5-6-3. If progressing from last run at Curragh and able to transfer best form to all-weather should be capable of winning this race. WIN :hope

Re: BBOTD - June 4th 8.40 Kempton King Colombo 5pts ew 14/1 Sporting bet EW Finished 5th in a very decent race at Newmarket in November that Twice Over won. This horse will be far better placed at 1m rather than the 1m2f it faced that day. Finished 5th beaten about 4L that day & had Duntulum behind in 7th (winner on reappearance this season). Is also a course & distance winner having won a maiden here last term.
