billy the punter Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Re: Great Leighs 24/04 Yes the surface is silimar to all tracks bar Southwell - although at the moment it's a bit fluffy and is 'kickbacking' more than it will do in the future, once it is bedded in. However that is as far as the similarities go. The track itself is totally different to Lingfield and Wolverhampton. It is much more galloping and I expect there to be no traffic problems like there are at other A/W tracks. It is similar to Kempton in that way (although this is RH obviously) as that also has a big sweeping bend, although GL's straight looks a lot more fair.
