Re: ** Poker Saturday 29th March ** Laddies Sports Day Saturday This weekend see’s one of the most crucial Merseyside Derbies for years, the result of this match will go a long way to deciding who finishes fourth and gains a lucrative Champions League spot. Liverpool v Everton @ 16:00 Sunday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon Ladbrokes Poker will be running three MTT’s @ 14:00 all named as follows: LIVERPOOL: 2000 starting chips and 12 minutes blinds EVERTON: 2000 starting chips and 12 minutes blinds DRAW: 2000 starting chips and 12 minutes blinds All you need to do is decide what result you think the game will be and enter the appropriate tournament. If you finish in the top 5 of the tournament that corresponds to the correct result and you will $100 on top of your tournament winnings. Why not play in more than one of the tournaments and give yourself a better chance of winning the added money! Good Luck!

Re: ** Poker Saturday 29th March ** count me in for the PLOPS please :ok opps forgot that i voted last night in the wee early hours of the morning :$ Ive love playing MTTS, but i think lasts nights was one of my longest. It was a €10 rebuy on Paradise and had 398 runners. I only ever bought the add on at the first break as i managed to triple up fairly early. The tournament was only paying the top 30 so i thought that i was probably looking at 3-4 hours play. It wasnt until later on that i clocked the blind structure, being 5 x 12 mins for the first hour, the 4 x 15 mins 2nd hours and then moving onto 20 min levels after that. Even though the first hour was great for me, i went completly card dead from there picking up the odd blinds but it got to the stage at 1k/2k blinds and i only had 6k left that i pushed all in UTG with AQ s to get 2 callers and flopping trip aces to triple me up. That was probably at the 2 1/2 hr mark with still about 90 runners i think. It then got to the bubble stage which dragged even slower around the 4 hour mark. At this point was now feeling :zzz and needed a boost, i think i started to PM Avon as i could see she was still on to possibly rail me to keep me awake,(apologise if you was wondering what it was all about) but time i finished writing she and gone off line :unsure, Well finally after 6 1/4hrs play at 4.15am i managed to finish 3rd for €1063 so made it all worthwhile, 3hrs sleep and of to work, pro plus and black coffes all day have kept me awake :loon sorry to bore you with this but that was one long game !

I went to watch something I'd recorded earlier and remember waking up some time after 3, so I don't think I'd have been much good to you anyway. :\
