Re: Poker Monday 19th November Well I cant get betfair to work on my lappy so I wont bother. I dont know if its a Vista thing but I never had any problems before and it runs OK on my XP PC. Can't really be arsed to get it fixed.

I've taken a view that a password protected game with 30 players is less restrictive on PL'rs than a non password protected game with 15 players. I can see the "fuzzy" nature to the logic there, but BPP at the moment is in need of a numbers boost if it is to survive!!! I can understand why you might find it frustrating.

Re: Poker Monday 19th November Seen the threads, understand the need to keep interest going. Just dont see how password protected games (other than pl exclusive games) can possibly be included. TBH this is why I lost interest before. That and the fact Virgin seem to rule the roost on most games and I personally would prefer to play games Boss media wide unless they are actually sponsering the game.

Well I cant get betfair to work on my lappy so I wont bother. I dont know if its a Vista thing but I never had any problems before and it runs OK on my XP PC. Can't really be arsed to get it fixed.

I sometimes get this problem on my laptop with vista, if you right click the betfair icon on your desktop and click run as administrator hopefully it should sort your problem out.

At £5 for 12 issues, compared with £2.25 per issue in the shops has got to be good value, even if you don't read much off it. :ok

I don't have any accounts on my lap top so have all the admin crap that comes with Vista turned off. I have however tweaked some settings recently so I will give Betfair one more try. I am seriously fecked off with Vista. Pile of crud. I would install XP over the top but feel that as I have paid for it I should use it. Awful piece of software that makes doing the most simple things difficult and not helped by 3rd party software failing to provide updated drivers. Rant over. Don't want to go on tilt BEFORE my Aces get cracked tonight!
