Nade Posted June 14, 2007 Share Posted June 14, 2007 I want to know roughly what everyone's longest run in a MTT, STT or even cash games is without winning a hand? Last night i played a MTT and by the first break -1hr- the only hands i'd won were a BB steal sitting in the SB and a split pot when i went all in with KK v K8 and the board came a straight (i'm sure GaF will tell me it was a 50/50 though ;)) Whenever i had marginal hands to limp with someone raised and things were just going that way. By the break i had just over 1100 chips which wasn't so bad considering i hadn't won a hand after an hour. About 5-10mins after the break i doubled up - my first proper win after about 110 mins of play! - pretty certain thats a record for me. Not sure longest running sequence but I once got to a FT with over 100 starters with only winning 4 hands. We had a 10 seater game the other week round a friends house we started at 8pm and I didnt hit my 1st winning hand untill gone 11pm which was into the 2nd game lol god i've never had such a bad run nothing suited nothing connected no pairs and no paint it was 83 95 10,4 all night and with other raising pre flop i didnt even see any cheap flops. One of my most pleasing stats ever was winning a STT without winning a showdown untill the final hand. So the only time any one saw my hole cards was when we both said gg at the end. Seen myself at final tables with stats like, hands won 3% which is rock like in the extreme. In fact in CL games you can reach the final table with stats like flops seen 3% hands won 12%.
