Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04

Recommended Posts

southwell 3.55 Empress Olga Evs impressive sort over first few races, finishing 2nd on both AW runs. today has spencer booked and what appears to be a very weak race, against 6 others, 3 of which are first runs and 2 havent run in 6 months or so. Tequila Rose has best run record of C&D 4th, whilst Viami has first run in uk following 3 irish runs, the last of which was october. Princess Palatine, whilst has a decent 4 races under the belt, has not raced on AW yet. Looks a great chance for Empress Olga to get its first win.

ReasoningIf this race had been back on AW i'd have been ultra confident as it's last run at Lingfield was top class, winning readily over 7f. I don't like to transfer form from AW to turf but this horse ran well at Newmarket in a class 3 race last season on soft. Ran in class 4 last time out and drops to class 5 today. Apply Dapply looks to be the danger but the selection is in such good form and won so well it's hard to oppose and should be fine with good ground. Been waiting patiently for this to turn out again and going to NAP it today and hope it rewards that patience. It's certainly good enough.

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 2.00 WETHERBY BRAVE REBELLION .5 E/W This looks to be between first 4 or 5 in the betting.Likley fav ice tea is dropping back in trip +ground will be firmer. B.R has promised more but sloppy jumping being the major problem but was better L.T.O and with firmer ground is worth an e/w bet imo.

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 MELALCHRIST 2.10 Southwell RPF 7/2 In form stable, draw fine for front runner, course will suit, on a winning mark, good run lto in this class when close up from outside draw. Count Cougar is the obvious danger but may struggle to defy another weight rise. 1pt win

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 3.55 Southwell: Empress Olga. Ed Dunlop and Jamie Spencer combine on a mare who has been placed twice in her last 3 starts and who was a close 2nd to a good sort over 7 furlongs on her last run in March, has the ability to go 1 better in a small field today.

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 2.55 Folkestone. IMPROMPTU Not run for 193 days, but although yet to win after 5 attempts, she has gone close a few times and would set the mark for this race today. The trip and ground will not be a worry and if she's fit enough to do herself justice, she'd set the mark and will be the one to beat so at 2/1 a good price to be on.:ok

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 Win Bet 4:50 Dunbrody Miller A cut above these last season rated alot higher then has slipped down the ratings thanks to very some indifferent outings since. 3 mile 1 was the distance last time it won, and the the ground that day was good to firm.

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04 SA NAU 2.00 Wetherby Did well enough on the flat over middle distances, and has improved gradually over hurdles recently. Soft and worse ground not ideal for him, so with getting faster conditions today he should be able to find his best and possibly a bit more. The trip's fine, so with the bare form to go well anyhow, he'd appear to have every chance today. Jockey and trainer not a popular combinaton, but that's fine with me as both capable and we get a bit bigger price for our money. Has a few dangers, but I feel 'Sa nau' has the edge over them and so should go well. 1 pt win. http://layntradetheproway.blogspot.com

caterina ballerina will not lose simple as that
Great reasoning. Could never have backed this at the odds anyway, but some understanding of the track would have led many savvy punters to lay it or leave the race alone.

Re: Daily Nap Of The Day ~ Tues 03/04

C/D winner Count Cougar has been good to me this year , only beaten once, back to its favourite 5f and apprentice taking of a valuable 5 lbs he should lead all the way. 1pt win
Thanks for this, was fairly late checking this thread today, but still managed to get 7/2 on Betfair :clap
