BillyHills
340 Stratford : Kelrev Classy chaser on his day but switched back to hurdles last time because of the lenient handicap mark, nearly came off when second at Ascot, gone up slightly in the weights and needs to win one of these decent prizes while at this sort of mark, will like this ground better also, trevels well in his races so this quick track should be fine. Fatz
Re: Saturday EW Fancies One More Round (3.25 Lingfield) RP f/c 14/1 Can't think of many better horses to have run 14 times on the AW without winning ! Originally with one of my favourite trainers, Dermot Weld, but no credit to him in this case as he failed to recognise this horses potential as a sprinter and ran him only once at a distance of less than 7 furlongs. Joined the Nick Littmodden stable in Febuary 2005 and continued to be campained over 8/9 furlongs until dropped sharply in trip and running out of his skin in this race last year to be beaten just 1/2 length by Les Arc (group 1 winner since). Since showing his true colours as a sprinter has been almost exclusively campained at 5/6 f and had a fine 2006 turf season winning a £30k race at Windsor and finishing a slightly unlucky 2nd in a £44k handicap at Ascot. Form tailed off towards the end of last turf season but showed that he is no back-number when a fast finishing 4th to Areyoutalkingtome LTO despite being hampered and returning from a three month break. No way of knowing how far from peak fittness he was that day, but his conquerer has a welter burden of 10 stone today and the selection reopposes on 6 lb better terms. REMIXXX
Re: Saturday EW Fancies Wetherby: 3:00 Negus de Beaumont (7/1) Distance winner. Trainer - Ferdy Murphy, rides - G Lee. Form:P-31111. Not it's course but 7/1 is enough to compansate.
friskyfitz
Re: Saturday EW Fancies Horse: Briery Fox Meeting:Sandown Time: 3.50 Price: 67.0 Sporting Odds. Surprised to see this at this price considering the ground is drying out. Arguably runs better on good but over this distance the horse has shown a different character. Last time out was too soft for it. As short as 22/1 at VC.
MajorWager
Re: Saturday EW Fancies 3.15 Sandown - Refinement @ 20/1 (sporting odds) Drying ground will help class prevail. Ground was too heavy lto, and won c2 on good/soft before over 3 miles. Used to carrying big weights, 2 miles 6 ought to suit, tries hard, and is invariably not far away. JJ in form with 100 quickest winners, and McCoy up. Competetive race but I think she is way overpriced.
