just got an email which i'm sure all of you got with some unanswered questions As you may have heard SportingOdds is moving poker software to become a part of Paradise Poker. The key reasons for this are; - We think that Paradise offers better poker software than the existing poker room and that it is more reliable. - SportingOdds and Paradise are both part of the Sportingbet group and by joining forces we can provide you with a better product and service. The benefits which will still be available to you on Paradise are; - $50 Welcome Bonus – simply by downloading the new Paradise software and logging in you’ll be credited with a $50 bonus. - when and how are we going to get this???????? - Existing Promotions – All promotions, such as the Champions League, STT League + Safety Net, will continue to run but will move to Paradise over the next two months. again when where and what on earth will they be called??? (you will see what i mean when you download paradise) - Loyalty Bonus - The SportingOdds loyalty bonus will continue to be offered on Boss in December. In January this will stop on Boss and be replaced by an even more generous loyalty scheme in Paradise. again very vague with no answers???? - Player Liquidity – The whole of the Sportingbet group is moving to Paradise and this means that almost half of the players on Boss will be playing in Paradise, including our Turkish, Spanish + Italian players. Combine this with all of the existing Paradise players and you’ll always be able to find a good table. Re: Sporting odds /Paradise I think in all honesty one of you mods should bring this to the attention of Joe Legge etc. Not being funny, but there has not been one single good report by anyone on here about switching over. There is nothing but problems reported, nothing positive at all, and no incentive to do so.

Re: Sporting odds /Paradise If you can't get to log into Paradise using your Sporting odds account, then this will help. When you try to log in you will have this log in screen (the blank black box is where I've cropped my IP address); soparadisepz2.jpg Note the Sporting odds logo at the bottom. If you follow the instructions you will see this logo. Use your Sporting odds log in details and it should work.

  1. Right click on the desktop shortcut.
  2. Scroll down and left click on properties
  3. This should bring up a new window with three tabs; General, Shortcut, and availability. Shortcut should already be selected.
  4. Just below the Paradise poker icon there is Target with a computer address that says, "C:\Program Files\ParadisePoker\ParadisePoker.exe"
  5. Place the cursor after the second quotation mark.
  6. Type the following; [space]cid[space]5005 OR copy this bit; cid 5005
  7. At the bottom click apply

If you have done it correctly the you should get a log-in screen like the one above, and your balance will move freely between Paradise Sporting odds Sportsbook Boss Media Sporting odds. My problem was that my log in details for Paradise (old account) and Sporting odds were exactly the same and that solved it for me. :ok

Re: Sporting odds /Paradise I just got this email after enquiring about the bonus. Thank you for your e-mail. Please notice that the bonus will be place into your pending credit balance and you must earn it before use it, you earn the bonus in $10 frames, every 100 points $10 are released from your pending credit to your available balance. Below you can see the criteria to earn those points. Also notice that the bonus is a match bonus, the bonus will match the first amount your transfer into the cardroom up to $50. I have reviewed your account and no transfers have been made yet. As soon as you make your first transfer the bonus will show in your pending credit balance. For each raked game that you are dealt cards (minimum rake $0.25), you will earn one point. Every time you accumulate 100 points, Paradise Poker will refund $10 from your 'Pending Credit' account to your available balance until you have recovered the entire deposit bonus that was credited to your 'Pending Credit' account. I was under the impression that I would 'automatically' have the $50 credited without having to earn it. I suppose I assumed too much. :sad

You are very clever Mr V, I followed your instructions and i now can log in on paradise and my Sodds balance is there also got my $50 bonus by sitting at the table. Also on Paradise i have a $1000 bonus with no money in and thats dissappeared:cry . I presume that if i log on to paradise without the Sodds connection it will be there again but i can't do anything about it as i have no cash there. I suppose i hoped all bonuses would be there and i could use my Sodds cash to start clearing some bonuses. Thanks for the help Mr V :notworthy

I doubt you can play on both skins at once, but once its set up right the balance should transfer between the three locations (BM, Sportsbook and Paradise) without any hassle. I guess they'd switch off BM skin in the New Year, but don't know for definite.

Re: Sporting odds /Paradise 'cept me I like the switch - sure the inteface takes time to get used to, as does the layout of the site, but these are minor problems - can't see much wrong with paradise (tho I was satisifed with Boss) no problem migrating, can still use boss sporting if I want to, more games on paradise (esp MTT's) dead easy realy Damo

I think in all honesty one of you mods should bring this to the attention of Joe Legge etc. Not being funny, but there has not been one single good report by anyone on here about switching over. There is nothing but problems reported, nothing positive at all, and no incentive to do so.

Re: Sporting odds /Paradise Played there tonight, entered a $1 rebuy sat to a $10k, lasted to nearly the end of the rebuy then went all-in and got beat, was trying to rebuy but got kicked out. Thought what the hell's going on, wasn't till i closed down that I saw I had Boss SO open too, so all my money was over there. didn't have enough to rebuy, DOH!!:tongue2 Didn't notice the $10k wasn't on till 2am either.:loon Played my first $5 STT and came 2nd, hard slog though and it has a higher rake so will stick with Boss for them for the time being. Far too many rebuy MTT's for my liking.

Re: Sporting odds /Paradise the re-buys are great - esp the super sats for the main events - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many fish playing any 2 cards so anyone here who has any idea how to play (i.e. all of you) and are prepared to rebuy/top-up once for another $3 will qual for the main event game 7 times out of 10 - you just have to wade you way through that fish hunt for an hour until the rebuy is over...... Damo

I agree, although I noticed that the guaranteed tourney's on Boss are now rebuys. (2 out of the 3 nightly ones anyway).

I just went through it myself earlier... and it went absolutely smoothly. I just did what they asked me to.... - Within 5 mins the $ 50 was in my pending bonus in the cashiers bit at Paradise. - The banking can still be done through the SO Sportsbook... - It transferred my log in from SO - so no problems logging in, and it asked me to change my screen name on Paradise, so I did. So... no problems at all :ok

I actually think you can :unsure Tried to log in to SO earlier when I was trying out Paradise, and I assumed I wasn't able to log in, but I was... and the rest of my funds were there too... so... the same money appearing at Paradise AND at SO at the same time.... bit strange :unsure
