Noodlehead Ned Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 5/4 to win group D @ skybet and Stan James, the only other decent opposition is the Czechs,but they have lost Nedved and put in an awful disply in the world Cup,ok they had injuries to koller and baros though but they just lost 2-1 at home to the serbs,who were also pretty bad in the WC. Koller and Baros are not improving of course,rosicky is decent though. Ireland could put in some sort of effort but I seriously doubt it,a very inexperienced manager and the will to win seems to have left this team.They put in an awful disply v holland,granted only a friendly with the best players missing,but if you get thrashed 4-0 at home in a friendly what happens in a competitive game.
