The list is on page 8 and you are already on it when you said that you wanted to go. :ok

Just checked Burlington only got twins left at £110 , Looking around theres the ibis at £53 might have to be consolation hotel
Ibis on ladywell walk is sound as a pound, stayed there a few times myself. It's about as close to the casino as you can get:ok

Re: Punterslounge Live Pokernight - Birmingham Circus Casino, Saturday 5th August Right. Here is the plan, if anyone needs to know anything more than is on this post please PM me. The Poker will start at about 9PM, give or take 5 minutes and will last until as late as you are playing. The casino closes at 4am. If you are not a member then you will need ID. Ideally this means a Passport or driving licence. I think the bare minimum is a credit card with a couple of recent utility bills. I strongly suggest if you don't have passport or drivers licence you call the casino and find out what they will accept. People will be meeting for drinks from about 6.30 in the Bacchus Bar. Bacchus is a bar underneath the Burlington hotel. Take note it is not the Burlington hotel bar, but a bar downstairs in the same building as the Burlington. Their number is: 0121 616 7991, if you get lost give them a call and I'm sure they'll be happy to help you. There will be lots of you (obviously) so if you are not members of the casino it would be a good idea to try and get there well before the poker starts to fil in all the neccesary paperwork. They have a nice bar and TV etc. so don't worry about being too early, you can always have a drink etc. whilst your waiting for the rest of PL to turn up, and I've no doubt staffy will already be in there(;)) The poker will probably start with a £10 freezeout MTT. So £10 is all you need to play. Once enough tablespace is freed up (i.e. once Paul Ross, Jeffers and a few others are out) there'll be some STTs springing up, but you'll have to sort the buy-in out amongst yourselves. I then asked re a credit card or bank card and after slight hesitation she said yes, without mention of any bills but I guess it can't hurt to have proof of address (which I'm not sure a passport does, does it ?) Anyway looking forward to meeting faces old and new on Saturday (some older than others and I know which group I fall into ! :lol ) Oh and no-one embarrass me if you can see I'm struggling to remember your name at any time during the evening - put me out of my misery :$ :ok

Just a quick Q abut parking...? Does the hotel have any residents parking? Or can you park on the side of the street on a Saturday night? :ok
NCP 30 seconds round the corner :ok I drove last time and it was about a fiver for 24 hours but it's a bitch to find so ring the burlington for directions or go to www.NCP.co.uk and DO NOT!! use AA/RAC mapping as they do not tell you that some roads are now 1 way and you will be driving round in circles for an hour!!!! Letting the Train take the strain this time :dude :beer C.R.
