Jonesy Knows
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Yep Socky this is now the best meeting of this weekend! Do you have any strong fancies yet? I'm waiting to see what tonight's weather does to the ground! although Hardy against Brave looks like a stormer of a race! Regards
socky1
Re: Leopardstown Sunday 2.55 GOLDEN CROSS Macs Joy who won this race last season has done little this term to suggest he will repeat that feat and has alot to find with Brave Inca on their 3 meetings so far this season. One that has finished in front of Brave Inca this season is Golden Cross allbeit over 2m 4f on heavy Ground. However my selection has has won over Course and Distance 3 times on various grounds including Yeilding. Hardy Eustace has only beaten a total of 2 horses this season so far and despite doing nothing wrong not sure if he'll be quite right. Wheras my selection Golden Cross who was kept fit by a couple of super runs on flat early in season is bound to be 'chomping at the bit' . Should be a juicy price around 8/1 and currently available at 66/1 for the Champion Hurdle just had a nibble e/w for both Races:loon
jeffers
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Macs Joy to run into a place for me. This horse is right up there with the best hurdlers in Ireland and I can't understand why it's such a big price for Cheltenham. Already on it at 33/1 for the Champion Hurdle. I could give a lot more reasoning, but I'm pissed.
FleetFanatic
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Macs Joy to run into a place for me. With 7 runners, that would be 2nd then. :tongue2 Fancy an outside bet on 25/1 The French Furze myself.
Rab
Re: Leopardstown Sunday This looks to be a cracking race and Macs joy can win as he did last year, Both Brave inca and Hardy eustace have greater goals at cheltenham to aim for and wont be made to work to their full potential imo
aliando
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Given Meade's record, looking on the racing post site, would you say that sticking a couple of quid each way on both Augherskea and Arch Rebel would be worth it (even though it'd be first 2 place only? Or would just throwing the money out of the car window on the motorway give me the same return? (Non-handicaps tend to throw up less big winners I believe)

The_Berg
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Im afraid that the Bergs gonna be boring, im on brave inca and justified, single stakes about, i do quite fancy justified though, had a polite flutter at 2's!!:dude
jeffers
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Didn't see the race but very happy with Macs Joy's run on paper. Looking a very good selection now at 33/1 for the Champion Hurdle.
Big Andy
Re: Leopardstown Sunday Didn't see the race but very happy with Macs Joy's run on paper. Looking a very good selection now at 33/1 for the Champion Hurdle. looked to be cruising around the last bend and approaching the final hurdle, it would`ve been interesting to see the in running market. Brave Inca got the full APM treatment though and rallied well. great finish.
