FleetFanatic
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... Best odds are up - it's the 'only allow a 14-fold' bet365. Manual inputing of each part of the bet seperately required. That means take AB, enter stake, place bet. Then AC, AD, AE etc until all 10 6-folds done. Repeat for 9-folds, then 12-folds. I'll stick the 15-fold in Stan James as I know I can. (Combined odds there are 2/3 of bet365.) Be ok if betfair could take this bet - combined odds would be 3 times greater. For those using a bookies and a betting slip, an example is here: http://www.punterslounge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23361&page=

FleetFanatic
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... Right..... I've taken on a couple of suggestions from last season: Current form is now only the last 4 games. And away form changes to WINS PLUS DRAWS MINUS DEFEATS. Will be back later with the ratings and bets. As the method has changed, we'll reset the banks back to £100 and see how it goes.

Lucky-15
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... Hi FF i've just joined and read all through ur thread as i've been following bookiesrbust 4 4 weeks without joy. I liked ur idea of dropping the Glen Beavis (POINTLESS!!) , but i've also used the form 4 the last 6 matches 4 the away team if they end up with a plus score i minus it - if the away scores a minus i add it on 2 the home team - just thought i'd c what u think CHEERS!!!! FleetFanatic
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... Hi and :welcome . I've said it time and time again - the bookiesrbust idea is crap mate. All that happens is you dilute the double (in our case treble) between the draws - and even then that's based on your selected teams winning. That was proved in the very first parts of this very long thread. There is one very strong reason why we don't even think about the away teams form & that is because if a team is going to slip, even those top of the league, it will more likely happen away from home. Last season within the space of a week I think it was, Accrington lost away at Southport, Southend away at MK Dons - both of those were the bottom club at home to the top club. Chelsea got beat away at Fulham.... the list is endless. Whilst they were not home teams we would come up with using these methods, I maintain backing away teams is a joke. I could add more and more variable / filters and all that is happen in the end is that we'd end up having no selections for our bets! This season has proved tricky so far but last season it was already 2006 when this system really was put into place - without doubt by then the form was well bedded and the league table better shaped. I'm not panicking yet, I've just reset a couple of variables which i think has also allowed me to set more rigid rules. Whether it turns out to be for the better or not remains to be seen..... Bedlam
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... As you've already suggested Fleet, maybe it's too early to tinker. The system produced fantastic results last season. Maybe the answer is simply to be more patient next season & give form more time to establish. You allowed yourself to be talked in to starting too early by popular demand against your better judgement!
FleetFanatic
Re: Fleet's UK Footie Trebles..... Ah but was it 'against my better judgement'? I haven't run this so early in the season before so didn't know what to expect! The revisions put more emphasis on the most recent performances & also ensure that teams drawing away from home go against the home team rather than for the home team, which was a valid agrument raised by others last season. As with any system, it can always be open to improvement. We'll go forward with these revisions until the end of the year and if no joy, we'll consider picking up 2007 with the old criteria. Well despite the recent hiccups I've read through most of this thread picking up the important bits and now I'm jumping on the bandwagon. At present I'll be following the treble and the 7-fold only with less stake than yourself as playing with a smaller bank. This being the reason I cannot justify the canadian yet unless they wanted to accept 26 bets of between 2-5p haha!
