He frequents the chat on the welcome page and gets up everybodys nose. My 7 year old can hold a more sensible conversation. I'm sure he's still at school because I've never seen him in anything other than a freeroll. As morl put it, click ignore chat and enjoy your game because he normally gets caught out. If not, call the manager as he has been chat banned a few times It really was quite amusing. Just pointless trying to play that's all. As for his comments about "it's not playing poker". Have watched a number of games on tv where points accumulation gets you into the next round. It's amazing in the last few games to see the different styles of play going on with those aiming to outlast others etc. (None last this long tho' **sigh**) Not to mention final tables where money's involved.. the hands that get folded when a player goes all-in in the hope of seeing them go out and gaining more prize money. So if it's good enough for the pros then it's definitely good enough for us little amateurs. So after a few minutes play, I checked to see how Dot was doing, and he was on table 2, reaping all the blinds from 7 discons and one 'away' player! :wall Then when I looked again later on, he was 'away' with 14k in chips, letting all the sub-500 chip discons constantly share the blinds around the table, meaning that they didn't go out, and no 'live' players could join the table. Obviously hoping to let this go on for as long as possible, and start playing again when the field was cut down considerably. Its so rare that I find myself on a table all alone that I couldn't help seeing what would happen. To be honest I wouldn't have tried it if I was on table 20 or something, but as it was table 2, I thought I'd see what happened. In the end I got moved off the table to a higher number, just in case anyone else tries it again. And as far as sporting goes, that went out the window ages ago in this comp from what I can see. Sorry Dot, I have to disagree with you on that one. Apart from two hellish tables yesterday, it's actually been quite good this week. This avvo Hula and I were lucky enough to have some sharing at the start (cautious mind as two were sit-outs). And then even when Terry woke up the game was restarted and continued in a very clean manner. Not arguing that there aren't absolute idiots out there but most are decent players which is what appauled me last night with Chris slagging them off from the minute the first went out. Perhaps I'm taking it too much too heart, but we have all been involved in this tourney for so long now to start having a go at each other at this stage is not helping. We are all agreed it has gone on too long and is getting to everyone but posts on here involving one PL player thanking another for some assistance or other are slightly concerning. Every point could now be vital and I can envisage a situation when going into the last weekly final 2 or 3 people could still make the top 10. I would not like to think that the successful person is the one who receives the most help from others (and I don't mean sharing blinds on a table full of discons - every time a game starts up I hope I'm alone :lol ). As I see it the forum is for advice on play, to spread the word on value tournaments and for the exchange of experiences, good and bad (and I'm sure many other benefits I have missed). It is not for 'collusion' (that is way too strong a word but can't think of another) at the tables. Play any other tournament - the SO dollar up twice a week was a prime example - and you will see PL members actively taking on others in the spirit of the game.
