Hopefully, a profitable match, but last season's match was a 3-3 draw, so abig loss for the system if the scoreline is repeated today. Goal stats. are encouraging, but we all know about the dangers of placing too much reliance on stats. It's often the matches you think will be low scoring that aren't. :\ Only two strategies operating at the moment, minimum stakes. Strategy 4 - Sell TGM's at 115 for £2 per minute. A latish goal converted a possible profit of £122 into a loss of £30 for each of our traded strategies. Thank you, Mr. Bellamy...... TGM's make up = 130 minutes. Strategy 4 = -£30 loss, new bank = +£406. Strategy 5 = -£30 loss, new bank = +£224. CCV is still 0. A trading loss in this match, and the 3 goals scored mean that the 'cardcount' decreases to -1, and all strategies will be used for the next match. TGM's MU = 152 minutes. This thread could have been retitled 'How to lose £712 without really trying', after this match result, but thankfully the next match after it, (Everton), allowed us to regain most of the loss, thanks to an aggressive staking plan. Total goal minutes MU = 209 (!). Still, on the positive side, a profit all round, which we may need, with our next trade, Middlesbro' v Man. Utd. looming up over the horizon. Man. Utd are kings of the late goal..... Re: Spreadman's Total Goal Minutes Sell System trades for today - first post! Result of STGMSS Match No.16, Middlesbro v Man. Utd., 4-1. We suffered the curse of the last minute goal...again! I may, in the future, decide not to trade in matches that I believe will be high scoring. Currently the strategy is to trade on all matches, in order to avoid missing out a profitable match, that may have been considered a potential loss, and so not traded on. As well as adopting this strategy, I will trade out and close at 80-85 minutes, as I do currently with my own, personal trades, in order to avoid potential losses of 85+points, caused by a very late goal being scored. There is a small price to pay for doing this...normally a 'penalty' of 5 to 10 points on the spread, but well worth it. Total goal minutes MU = 240 (!) Two completely contrasting matches and results. Firstly, the Plymouth match numbers : Total goal minutes MU = 0, TGM's originally sold at 110 minutes, so 110 points profit. Strategy no. and P/L : 1 = +£110 2 = +£110 3 = +£440 4 = +£330 5 = +£440 This match boosted our betting banks by no less than +£1,870, illustrating just how profitable 0-0 results, and the total goal minutes trade, can be. And our second traded match of the day.... W.Brom v Newcastle, 0-3. Total goal minutes MU = 204 Luckily, as our system rules mean no trades for strategies 1, 2, and 3 after a 0-0 result, we avoided a loss on those strategy's banks.
