A bit of midweek/weekend overlap this week with the FA Cup starting on Thursday. We won't stand on ceremony too much if anyone posts a Thursday bet in the "wrong" thread! :loon

Plenty of games on free to air TV, Villa v West Ham perhaps the pick of the ties unless potential giant killings are you thing. Tamworth to beat Spurs, Accrington v Liverpool or Salford v Man City anyone? Not to mention a nice local affair in the shape of Leeds v Harrogate.

No games in the Premier League or Championship but a few games below that and a normal league programme in Scotland. With France and Germany getting back at it we have a pretty much full league schedule in Europe as well

So very much "as you were" after the Festive period and plenty of scope for finding some decent bets. I look forward to hopefully posting a few winners and seeing what the rest of you have to offer.

To mark the 3rd round of the FA Cup I'm taking a trip down memory lane! I used to have a strategy of siding with significant cup underdogs by selling the time of their 1st goal. Going to try it for all dogs who aren't expected to score by the hour mark.

Two tonight. Sell Peterborough at 66.5 and sell Watford at 64.5.

The earlier they score the more I win, the later the opposite, worst case scenario no goal costs me 23.5 x stake in the case of Peterborough and 25.5 Watford (90 - the sell price).

Let's see how it pans out and whether it's a mistake to go back to one of your exes!
