First Goalscorer Strategy

Inspired by Harry's goalscorer betting system, I have decided to try betting on a which player I think will score first.  I will be using Bet365 for these bets as I can use the "void if player does not start option" on those bets that I place a lot of hours before the team lineups are confirmed.  

When it comes to choosing the player I'll simply be looking at how they are ranked as a goalscorer in their respective leagues, so the strategy is simple enough.  These bets will be mostly Premier League, US MLS, Scottish Premiership, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga.  A lot of the same names and teams will be cropping up.

All bets will be £1 and I will keep a record to see if I can make a profit. 

I'm going to trial this for 50 bets.

Good luck, looks a positive opening salvo seen through the lens of my usual approach. His goal minutes are 38 to buy which chimes with him being around 5/6 to score anytime. If you backed him first e/w that gives you odds against for the “place” part. I’ve not looked at his stats but if I was inclined to back him I’d see first e/w as the value angle. Might be worth tracking how you’d do if you backed each way, or at least note how many of your players win, “place” and don’t score at all.

Unibet automatically void bets where the player doesn’t start, so you can use them if that’s an option for you.
