Racing chat Sunday 8th oct

Off to a flyer earlier it is never an easy game and digging holes and form reading do not go hand in hand.

Uttoxetter 1545

but

The Bomber Liston

win

is his trainers only runner of the day and reverts back to hurdles. if arriving in form on the first leg of a 226 mile round trip may give this field a clean pair of heels to look at. Not easy to readily trust the silver spooned and tongued one but when he gets it right, he does so in grand fashion.

Woodbine2239

Nations pride

win

proven group 1 performer and defeat of zagray gives him a form line to Equinox. Should be too good for the opposition here. Several of Applebys runner have been turned over this weekend.

 Form franked by the runner up.

William Buick has the best horse but will have to gate hard and decisively here.

Fev Rover ex of Richard Fahey and Hugh Taylor being the latest horse to beat an Appleby runner today.

Only Nations pride and BOIS GILBERT

won  today but that takes the winners since Oct 1st ( last Sunday). to

Thirty four  (34)

one attempt at a trifecta with no success. The target was forty (40) winners over the  entire month of October. The other target is three successful tricasts. Fingers crossed  the forty winners mark will be reached over Monday and Tuesday. Then I can focus on landing tricasts using a formula which is a lot simpler than people could possibly imagine;

                   Alexander.
