harry_rag
Eyes down and buckle up, here we go with the first set of fixtures in the Champions League proper. Matchday 1 as they no doubt call it these days. Some great match-ups there. How will Newcastle fare at Milan, how many goals will Man City win by, will Man U be able to restrict Bayern to less than 5 (not too flippant a question on current form). I'm expecting plenty of thoughts and bets on these games, hopefully not just me reeling off a load of goalscorer bets!

harry_rag
My gut reaction to the prices is that Newcastle are flattered by being more or less co-favourites away to Milan. I'm not sure the step up to CL level will be that seamless. Used my weekly double odds bet builder boost with Hills on Milan Double Chance, >1 goal and Giroud to score at 7.66. Heisenberg68
Hi I'm going to talk about tonight's match between Sevilla and Lens. As a supporter and specialist of Racing Club de Lens, I know what I'm talking about. Lens probably won't make this match THE priority of the week, but the players will be determined to pick up points in Spain. Lens aren't winning at the moment, but the problem isn't in the game. It's in their heads. This weekend against Metz, they could well have won 2-0 at half-time, but we just couldn't get it right! It won't last. The team has been strengthened this summer despite the loss of Seiko Fofafa and Openda. The wild is going to turn and the victories will come soon. I find it hard to believe that Lens will lose tonight, I really like the X2. ThunderDan9, ivans82, harry_rag and 2 others 4
