NFL Week 12 Predictions

Favourites are only 43.7% for the season ATS but this will change this week as the battle for league supremacy continues.

(1) Bengals to win ATS –1.5 points @ 10/11

The Titans (7-3) are holding a clear lead in the AFC South and may take is it easier than normal. The Bengals (6-4) are chasing the Ravens (7-3) in the AFC North and with difficult fixtures ahead, the Bengals need this win.

 (2) Bills to win ATS -9.5 points @ 10/11

Josh Allen in a Thanksgiving TV game against one of the worst defences in the NFL makes the Bills an obvious choice.

(3) LA Chargers to win ATS -4.5 points @ 10/11

Playing away from home does not worry the Chargers who are 39-19-3 against the spread in their last 61 Road games. Whilst the Cardinals are not that impressive at home being 2-8 against the spread in its last 10 Home games. Chargers seem to have the Cardinals number being 4-1 against the spread in the last 5 meetings.

 (4)The Colts to win ATS -2.5 points @ 10/11

The Colts still have a chance to keep their season going. The return to form of Jonathon Taylor could be a big factor in this game. Steelers play better at home and are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games on the Road.

 (5) New England Patriots to win ATS +2.5 points @ 10/11

The Vikings (8-2) were demolished by Dallas but still have a massive lead over the chasing teams (4 wins) in the NFC North. They do not need the win as much as the Patriots. Their defence is number one in the NFL only allowing 87 passing yards in the last two games.

(6) 49Ers to win ATS -9.5 points @ 10/11

Battling with Seattle in the NFC West, the 49Ers need to beat the Saints. I think the 49Ers are bound for the Super Bowl whilst the Saints struggle to score. Saints four wins have all been against modest opposition the Falcons (5-6), Seahawks (5-5), Rams (3-7) and Raiders (3-7). The Saints are also 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings

 (7) Seahawks to Win ATS – 3.5 points @10/11

Home advantage could be the deciding factor here. The Seahawks Lumen Field is so noisy it is always difficult for the away team. Seattle also need a win to keep pace with the 49Ers.

 (8) Packers to win ATS +7points @ 10/11

The Eagles (9-1) have been cooling off in the past few weeks. A win will suffice whereas Green Bay are desperate. With Aaron Rodgers anything is possible.

(9) Jets to win ATS -4.5 points @ 10/11

The Bears have done well with Justin Fields leading the offence. If he does not play (or carries an injury) the Jets could keep up their AFC East chances.

 (10) Dolphins to win ATS -13 points @ 10/11

The AFC East is extremely competitive with just one win separating all four teams. A win is imperative for Miami. Home advantage is huge for Miami. The Dolphins are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games at Home.

Dallas/NYG Under 45.5

An NFC East matchup for Thanksgiving day. The Cowboys fresh off destroying Minnesota last week while the Giants stumbled vs the Lions at home. The Giants will be missing 4 Olinemen, which doesn't bode well vs the best pass rush in the NFL. The Giants have played game close to the vest most of the year, and they will try and do the same here. I can't see them moving ball consistently with a depleted OLine. At the same time the Giants have played solid D, a bend but don't break unit. The Cowboys should be able to establish the run, whcihc means the clock will be running most of the afternoon. The offense will realize the Giants will be smothered defensively and they won't open up the playbook in this case.

I agree that the Bengals will cover the spread here. Titans have conceded the 5th most passing touchdowns this season and are playing against Joe Burrow who is 3rd in passing yards and 2nd in touchdowns. Ja'Marr Chase is questionable but the Bengals have enough to get it done with Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.

Meanwhile, Justin Fields' injury status will determine who I back on the spread between the Bears and the Jets. Right now, Justin Fields is the Bears offense and with the spread currently at six, I fancy the Jets to cover if he's absent - but backing Fields to cover if he plays.

One I like the look of today on the money line is:

Seattle Seahawks 1.50 Bet365

Play at home against the Las Vegas Raiders. Raiders won in overtime last time out though have generally struggled this season. The Seahawks have impressed me and although losing last time out, have been in good form in their last few games.

In the Anytime touchdown market I have gone with:

Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) 2.20 Bet365
