PSG vs Benfica

PSG goes into this match following a 0-0 Ligue 1 drawn result vs Reims. It was their second straight draw in all competitions, but the Parisiens are still undefeated this season. Their latest results really do illustrate the point that it has been a great time for the Paris Saint-Germain rearguard. Paris Saint-Germain has been mean at the back, with the number of goals that have flown into the back of their net during their previous six outings standing at 3. They are also on the right track to the Champions League knockout stage, being joint-first in the group with their upcoming rivals. A success on Tuesday evening would see them very close to securing a top spot in the group.

Benfica heads into the match following a 4-2 Primeira Liga win against Rio Ave in their previous game. That triumph kept them on the top of the Portuguese top-flight, three points ahead of Porto. Benfica has also been undefeated this season, having only two draws in all competitions. A succession of dependable performances by the Benfica defensive unit has resulted in the number of goals they’ve conceded, amounting to 4 from their previous six outings in total. Over that same period of time, the number of goals that they have scored themselves is 13. The visitors are full of confidence, and they hope for a positive result against a tough opponent.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

PSG hasn’t been too convincing lately despite being successful in all competitions. They are favorites in this match, but Benfica shouldn’t lose by more than a goal.

Goals Market Prediction

Clashes between these two teams have been a joy to watch since the BTTS Yes bet cashed nine times in their ten encounters. We believe the tradition will continue, and neither team will keep a clean sheet.

Milan vs Chelsea

Milan is hoping to win again after their last result, the 2-0 Serie A success against Juventus. That win kept them in the top four in the Italian top flight, three points behind Napoli. It’s been a rare occasion in recent games where Milan has shown defensive steel. The facts show that Milan has been scored against in 5 of their previous six matches, giving up eight goals during that time. The Rossoneri would also like to get revenge for a heavy 3-0 defeat in London last Wednesday. Junior Messias (Muscular problems), Mike Maignan (Calf Injury), Davide Calabria (muscle injury), Zlatan Ibrahimović (Knee Surgery), and Alessandro Florenzi (Hamstring Injury) are not available for Milan manager Stefano Pioli.

Chelsea goes into this match after a 3-0 Premier League win to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers in their previous outing. It was their third straight success, and the Blues are now 4th in the Premier League. A run of very capable showings from the Chelsea defenders has seen their ‘goals against’ tally standing at four from their last six fixtures combined. During the same time, their forwards have managed to score 11. The away side wants to pick up where it left off and get into a favorable position to book a playoff ticket. Chelsea manager Graham Potter has some current player fitness concerns. N'Golo Kanté (Muscular problems) and Wesley Fofana (Knee Injury) will miss out on this game.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Chelsea has been struggling on the road, while Milan is pretty convincing at Stadio San Siro. Although the visitors have improved their game, we think Milan will celebrate an important victory.

Goals Market Prediction

Both teams have been involved in high-scoring matches lately, and we anticipate another efficient game. Therefore, the crowd should enjoy at least three goals in total on Tuesday evening.

AC Milan vs Chelsea

The Champions League group stage enters its fourth round of games this week and we're getting closer to the pressure cooker time where qualification for the last 16, Europa League, and elimination from European football entirely this season is going to be decided. It's AC Milan versus Chelsea in this 8pm BST kick-off from the San Siro on Tuesday night in Group E. Defeat for either team here could put them on the brink of failing to reach the next round where as victory would leave them on the verge of qualifying for the last 16.

AC Milan might have suffered a demoralising 3-0 loss away to Chelsea in their most recent Champions League game but they bounced back with immediate effect with a convincing 2-0 win at home to fellow Serie A giants Juventus on the weekend. Stefano Pioli's men are now in 5th place in the Italian top flight but in 3rd position in this group. I Rossoneri have won 5 of their 6 home matches across all competitions so far this season and they'll be looking to gain revenge over their English opponents after the result in London last week. A win here could put them 3 points inside the top two with just 2 group games to play but a draw or loss could put the pressure on them to qualify with two potential banana skin matches to finish their group campaign. The defensive displays will need to improve with AC Milan conceding in 7 of their previous 8 games in all competitions.

Chelsea know that they have a psychological advantage over their opponents for this game having inflicted a 3-0 result on them last week. That result means that AC Milan will need to win by 3 goals or more to ensure they have a superior head-to-head record if it comes down to that deciding placements in the group. The Blues are starting to look decent under Graham Potter with the former Brighton head coach now unbeaten in his first 4 matches as Chelsea manager consisting of 3 wins and a draw. Chelsea have already lost 3 matches away from home in all competitions but none of those results came under Potter's tenure. Chelsea have still conceded in each of their last 4 away matches though. Potter knows a draw will give Chelsea the upper hand heading into the last two group games so I think we can expect to see them sitting back and looking to hit AC Milan on the counter attack.

Both teams have scored in 6 of the last 9 Champions League games involving AC Milan and I think there's every chance that could happen here. AC Milan know that they need something from this game to realistically stay in the hunt for the last 16 but they really want the win to avoid relying on the results of others. Their performance against Juventus on the weekend was a warning side for Chelsea but I can see Potter setting up his team in a similar way that he used to set Brighton up on the road which resulted in their away form being so good. I can see Chelsea earning at least a draw here if Potter gets his tactics right.

FC Copenhagen vs Manchester City

The Champions League action does start early on Tuesday with this 5:45pm BST kick-off between Group G rivals FC Copenhagen and Manchester City from the Parken Stadium in the Danish capital city. The home team need a win to keep their realistic hopes of reaching the last 16 alive but they face an in-form visiting side who currently top the group and will be looking to make it 4 wins from 4 group games.

FC Copenhagen came into this group knowing they were heavy underdogs and the fact they have picked up 1 point from their 3 group games so far has probably already exceeded expectations. Head coach Jacob Neestrup may well be one of the least experienced gaffers in European competition but he'll have to learn on the job quickly to avoid another hammering like his side suffered last week when they lost 5-0 away to their English opponents. A 1-1 draw at home to FC Nordsjaelland in the league on the weekend was a disappointing result given they conceded the equaliser in the 3rd minute of injury-time leaving the club in 7th place in the Danish Superliga. The Lions are unbeaten in their last 5 home games across all competitions including picking up points in both home European games against Trabzonspor and Sevilla this season.

Manchester City are already looking one of the favourites to win this competition. Pep Guardiola's side have romped to 3 wins in 3 group games to top Group G and a win here would cement their place at the top of the group putting them on the brink of being seeded for the last 16. The Citizens stormed to a 5-0 win when these two clubs met last week and it didn't really feel like City got out of second gear. Erling Haaland bagged a brace before being subbed off and if he starts here you'd back him to grab another couple of goals again. City have scored 11 goals in this group already and Haaland has got his name to 5 of those goals. City have picked up 10 wins from their 12 competitive matches so far this season scoring 44 goals across those games. I wouldn't be surprised if they hit 3 or 4 at least here again. Guardiola did say in his pre-game press conference that he was satisfied with performances but he wanted his defence to do better so I think he'll put an emphasis on them to get a third clean sheet in 4 group games.

I don't think it's really up for debate if Manchester City will beat FC Copenhagen or not. It's more a question of by how many. I'm absolutely backing City to win with a clean sheet here and I wouldn't be surprised if they win by 3 or 4 goals so the handicap bet is a preference. I'm going to swerve the Haaland two goals or more bet simply because I'm not sure if Pep will start him or not. If you see closer to kick-off that he is starting then I'd recommend getting on that one but I'll hold off on it for now.

Rangers vs Liverpool

The Champions League group games continue into Wednesday night and it's the return leg of the Battle of Britain in Group A as Scottish Premiership club Rangers host Premier League team Liverpool in an 8pm BST kick-off at Ibrox. It was a rather one-sided affair in the previous encounter at Anfield just last week so will we see a repeat outcome here or will an upset occur?

Rangers head into this game on the brink of elimination from the Champions League. Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team are sitting bottom of the group with zero points picked up from their 3 group games thus far. A defeat here would leave them unable to reach the last 16 with two games still to play. It's important to remember that Rangers defied the odds simply by reaching this stage of the competition after defeating Union Saint-Gilloise and PSV over two legs in qualification. However, the brutal reality is that they've been nowhere near competitive enough having lost every game so far without even managing to score a goal. The team are also conceding an average of 3 goals per game so there's issues at both ends of the pitch. The team have only failed to score in 1 of their 9 home games in all competitions but that game was their only home group stage game so far which was a 3-0 loss to Napoli.

Liverpool might not be enjoying the best of seasons under Jurgen Klopp but they are still on course to progress to the last 16 in the Champions League. The Reds currently sit in 2nd place and a win in this game would put them on the brink of qualification for the knockout phase of this competition, particularly if Napoli beat Ajax in Naples in the other game in this group. It's a good job they've won back-to-back games in this group because they are without a win in league action in 3 matches now. However, their only away game in this group saw them succumb to a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Napoli so that will be playing on the minds of the players. In fact, Liverpool are yet to pick up a win in any of their 5 matches on the road in all competitions. It's also just one clean sheet kept during that spell of away games.

Even though Liverpool kept it at a respectable 2-0 win when they played Rangers, it was clear to see that had Gers keeper Allan McGregor not been in inspirational form then the score-line could've been a lot worse for the Scottish side. Liverpool will be hurting after that 3-2 loss away to Arsenal on the weekend and I'm expecting a big reaction here. Can Rangers make home advantage count? I'm not sure. I think Liverpool will be deeply disappointed if they don't win this one with relative ease.

Tottenham vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The final Champions League preview of this round is a humdinger of a clash on Wednesday night in an 8pm BST kick-off between Premier League club Tottenham and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It's fair to say the winners of this game will have one foot in the last 16 where as the losers will be fighting an uphill battle to reach the knockout phase. A draw blows it wide open heading into the last two group games.

Tottenham might well be flying high in the league with the club currently in 3rd place thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Brighton on the weekend but Antonio Conte's side are struggling in the Champions League. Spurs may have won their first group game by a 2-0 score at home to Marseille but they have failed to win their two games since against Sporting CP and Eintracht Frankfurt. Even more disconcerting is the fact they've not even been able to score in those two matches. This has left the team in 2nd place but needing a positive result here to keep their fate in their own hands. The encouraging news is that Tottenham have picked up 5 wins from 5 home games in all competitions this season. They have also kept back-to-back clean sheets across all competitions.

Eintracht Frankfurt have already shown how dangerous an opponent they can be. Head coach Oliver Glasner has led his team to a 1-0 win away to Marseille before a 0-0 draw at home to Tottenham after their first group game saw them suffer a gutting 3-0 loss at home to Sporting CP. The Eagles are slightly off the pace in the Bundesliga down in 8th position and they did suffer a disappointing 3-0 loss away to Bochum on the weekend. Back-to-back clean sheets in this competition is undoubtedly what Glasner will focus on though in the lead-up to this encounter and certainly not the fact they have failed to even score in their last two games. The pressure is on the German side to get a win here due to their inferior goal difference compared to Tottenham's. It'll be interesting to see what approach they adopt for this match.

These two teams enter this game off the back of contrasting results in domestic action on the weekend. Tottenham will be buzzing to have got that win in what was a potentially tricky tie against Brighton. Eintracht Frankfurt fans will be wondering how on earth their team suffered such a defeat against Bochum. I think Tottenham have shown that they are turning this venue into a fortress this season and I'm anticipating them to get the win.

Rangers vs Liverpool

Rangers, buoyed by their previous result, will be hoping for more of the same after a 4-0 Premiership success vs St Mirren. However, the home side suffered three straight defeats in the Champions League. A recurring feature of more recent Rangers games is the high number of scores with nil in them. From their previous six clashes leading up to this one, in 5 of them, a bet on "Both Teams to Score" would have been a losing one. That pattern isn't assured to be carried forward here, though. Nnamdi Ofoborh (Heart Condition), Jon McLaughlin (Unknown Injury), Ianis Hagi (Knee Surgery), John Souttar (Ankle Injury), and Filip Helander (Foot Injury) will not be taking part for Rangers coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

After being beaten in their last game against Arsenal in Premier League competition, Liverpool will be aiming to make amends here. The Reds are very far from the Premier League title race, but they want to be more successful on the continental stage. Proving their penchant for productive matches, the back of the net has been hit 21 times in the previous six games in which Liverpool have sent out their troops, yielding a mean average of 3.5 goals per fixture. Opposing teams have got 11 from this total. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has some current player fitness concerns. Curtis Jones (Stress response of the bone), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Hamstring Injury), and Naby Keïta (Hamstring Injury) can’t be considered.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Although Liverpool has been very inconsistent this season, they are still favorites at Ibrox Stadium. We believe the Reds will meet expectations and celebrate by at least two goals in this encounter.

Goals Market Prediction

Eight of the last nine Rangers’ games went over a 2.5 margin, while the Over 2.5 FT bet cashes four times in Liverpool’s previous five matches. We think the same trend will continue, and we should see at least three goals in total.

Barcelona vs Inter

Barcelona, buoyed by their previous result, will be hoping for more of the same after the 1-0 La Liga triumph over Celta Vigo. On the other hand, Barca has only one victory in the Champions League group stage, and they are three points behind their upcoming rivals. Their more recent scorelines really do illustrate the point that not much more can be done by the Barcelona backline. The hosts have been miserly, with the tally of goals that have gone in at their end during their previous six matches standing at 3. Héctor Bellerín (Muscular problems), Andreas Christensen (Sprained ankle), Memphis Depay (Thigh Problems), Franck Kessié (Adductor problems), Jules Koundé (Achilles tendon problems), and Ronald Araújo (Adductors avulsion) will be missing for Barcelona manager Xavi Hernández.

Inter will come into the meeting after a 2-1 Serie A win as they beat Sassuolo in their last match. It was their second straight win that kept them close to the top-four zone. In their last six outings, Inter has helped themselves to the sum of 8 goals. The Nerazzurri have also managed to score in every single one of those games. During those fixtures, they’ve seen six goals scored by their opponents. Nevertheless, Inter will secure a ticket for the knockout stage if they win here. Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has to contend with a number of unavailable players. Dalbert (Cruciate Ligament Injury), Alex Cordaz (Medial Collateral Ligament Injury), and Romelu Lukaku (Muscular problems) won’t be available.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Barcelona desperately needs a win here, and we think the home side will deliver it. Inter hasn’t been impressive lately, and we don’t believe they will remain undefeated.

Goals Market Prediction

Although both teams have significant attacking potential, Barcelona has been involved in many low-scoring games lately. Inter will try to slow down the tempo, and we think the game could stay under a 2.5 margin.

Barcelona to Win @ 1.45
