Fulham vs Millwall

Fulham
After a disappointing 1-1 draw with Blackpool in the last round of the championship, they will seek to return to victory on Tuesday. Fulham lost 4-1 to the Premier League leaders in the FA Cup at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Silvas men are still five points ahead of Blackburn Rovers. The team have scored 37 goals in 15 games at home so far.

Millwall
After losing four consecutive games in all competitions, Millwall kept a clean sheet in the last two rounds against West Bromwich (2-0 win at home) and Preston North End (0-0 at home). On the downside, the East Londoners have lost four of their last five away games.

Prediction
Millwall will be happy to see Silva listed as the team of choice at the weekend. Nevertheless, I still believe that this will not affect the final result. Fulham will get all three points with professional performance.

Pick: Millwall +1.5 in AH

Cardiff vs Peterborough

It's a massive game at the bottom end of the Championship table on Wednesday night at relegation battlers Cardiff and Peterborough go head-to-head in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off from the Cardiff City Stadium. Both teams are in desperate need of a victory to ease their relegation concerns but it looks like the away side are in slightly more need of the 3 points ahead of this game.

Cardiff are appearing to turn a corner under head coach Steve Morison. The January transfer window activity has exceeded fan expectations with all arrivals already contributing to the cause. The double injury blow to Sean Morrison and Alfie Doughty with both ruled out for the season was a blow but the emergence of youngsters such as Rubin Colwill, Isaak Davies, Eli King, and Oliver Denham has been a big boost to the squad. The Bluebirds are still down in 20th place but are 9 points clear of the drop zone. It's also back-to-back wins in the league for Cardiff with the performances greatly improved over the past couple of months even if the results have lacked consistency until the past two league games.

Peterborough come into this game knowing if they fail to win then the pressure is really cranked up a notch. Darren Ferguson's men are in 22nd position and 2 points adrift of safety. The Posh have long struggled with surviving in the Championship but often seem too good for League One. This season feels like a prime opportunity for the club to stay up with Derby and Reading suffering points deductions and Barnsley seemingly destined to go down already. It's just 1 win from the last 13 league matches including no win from their last 5 league games. The club possesses the worst away record in the division having lost 12 of their 14 league encounters on the road.

I'm feeling quite optimistic about Cardiff right now. I was a big fan of the appointment of Morison and he's living up to our best hopes. He's re-branding our playing style, bringing through the youth players that he worked with so closely in the under-23s, and filtering out the deadwood that are out of contract at the end of the season. I am quietly optimistic we can end this season on a positive note and that includes winning games like this with our players, staff, and fan base properly united for the first time since Neil Warnock left really.
