Ajax vs Roma

The hosts enjoy a successful domestic campaign since they are eleven points ahead of PSV, with one game in hand. That advantage gives them enough space to focus on the Europa League campaign without worrying too much about dropping the top spot in Eredivisie. Ajax has been on a hot run lately as Erik Ten Hag’s side booked seven victories in a row in all competitions. Their unbeatable streak stretches to the past 24 games, while Ajax missed the chance to win only twice on the previous 20 occasions. Dusan Tadic and the lads have been clinical in front of the oppositions’ net, scoring 85 times in Eredivisie only. They didn’t have too much trouble getting to the quarter-finals after eliminating Lille and Young Boys. This is going to be their biggest test so far, and the home side aims for a place among the top four teams in this competition.

Roma heads to this clash after a 2:2 draw against Sassuolo last weekend. Gialorossi picked up just a point from the previous three Serie A rounds, which saw them declining to the 7th spot. The visitors are five points behind the top four now, with their major rivals having one game in hand. At the moment, it seems that Roma cannot challenge for a place in the Champions League next season. Paulo Fonseca’s side has been pretty productive during the campaign, but their defense should have been tighter. Edin Dzeko and the lads celebrated in all four knockout matches and were better than Braga and Shakhtar in previous rounds. However, a tough challenge is ahead of them, and Roma needs to improve to secure a positive result from Amsterdam.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

The major concern for Ajax in this game is the absence of the first-choice and the backup goalkeepers. Andre Onana is suspended, while veteran goalie Maarten Stekelenburg will miss the game due to an injury. Despite these troubles, we still consider Ajax as a favorite. Therefore, we think the hosts will continue the winning streak and celebrate in this clash.

Goals Market Prediction

Both sides have been involved in many high-scoring matches this season. Due to Ajax’s defensive troubles, their backline might be shaken as well. Since both teams have significant attacking potential, we expect to see at least three goals in this encounter.

Ajax to win @ 2.05

Over 2.5 FT @ 1.65

Correct score 2:1 @ 8.5022Bet

Granada vs Manchester United

Granada’s form dropped lately, and the hosts are far from challenging another Europa League ticket through La Liga. They lost three times in a row in all competitions and head to this game after a 3:0 home defeat against Villarreal. Diego Martinez’s side sits in 9th place in La Liga, being ten points behind Real Sociedad and the other two teams that challenge the Europa League spot. Nevertheless, Granada enjoys its current continental campaign, and they eliminated Napoli and Molde. German Sanchez and the lads need to tighten the defense, as they have been conceding too many goals lately. Granada has been pretty confident at its ground, but the hosts won only twice in the previous five home games. They need a very good and disciplined performance to challenge for a place in the semi-finals.

Manchester United established themselves on the 2nd spot in the Premier League after beating Brighton last weekend. The Red Devils were trailing 1:0 at halftime, but the comeback kings pulled out another victory. Despite being too far from the title battle, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side wants to finish as the runners-up in the English top flight. They celebrated three consecutive victories in the Premier League and are full of confidence. Bruno Fernandes and the lads have been pretty disciplined, while their away performances have been excellent this season. The English team was unlucky not to continue their continental campaign in the Champions League, as they finished 3rd in the group. However, Manchester United was better than Real Sociedad in the first knockout round, thanks to a 4:0 aggregate win. The visitors knocked out Milan in the eight-finals and became the prime candidates for the Europa League glory. The away side wants to go to the very end in this competition, and they want to secure a good result in this clash.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Manchester United is in a much better momentum, and the visitors are favorites in this clash. We believe the Red Devils will meet the expectations and get back home with a victory from the first leg.

Goals Market Prediction

The away side has been pretty tight in the back recently, while Granada has trouble converting its chances into goals. We don’t expect to see too many goals in this encounter, and this match should remain under a 2.5 margin.

Manchester United to win @ 1.55

Under 2.5 FT @ 1.7522Bet

Correct score 0:2 @ 6.50

Dinamo Zagreb scored an incredible qualifier in the last round and have won eight consecutive home games in all competitions, four of them in Europe. However, Villarreal have won nine and one draw in 10 European games this year and are experienced at this stage of the tournament. I expect a very closed match, without risk from both teams. I will bet on the few goals.
Dinamo Zagreb vs. Villarreal, Under 2,5 goal, odds 1,65

Roma's shortcomings at the back of the defense will not help the club at all, which will find it difficult to resist Ajax - especially far from the stronghold of Olimpico. On the other hand, the Dutch also have defensive gaps, so I expect an open match with goals.
Ajax vs. Roma @@ Over 2,5 goal, odds 1,70

Granada CF

Granada has not performed well in recent games. The past 2 league games have suffered a streak of losses. Their recent defense has a big problem. They have conceded 3 consecutive games and lost a total of 7 goals. The team is now far from the Europa League qualification, so it will go all out in this game.

Manchester United

Manchester United performed well in the league. They defeated Brighton in the last round. There is no problem in keeping the top 4, and there is no hope of winning the title, they should try their best in this game, because the Europa League has become their only hopeful champion.

Verdict:

Manchester United has a great advantage, and they have only lost 1 game in the last 10 games, their morale is very good. The 1X2 first odd is 5.50-3.80-1.62, obvious support the away team. Manchester United should win this game.

Arsenal

Arsenal's recent state is very poor. They have lost all of the past 3 matches. They lost to Liverpool 0-3 at home in the last round, which is the biggest blow to morale. Fortunately, their fighting spirit in the league this season is relatively low. In this knockout, they will definitely go all out.

Slavia Praha

Manchester United performed well in the league. They defeated Brighton in the last round. There is no problem in keeping the top 4, and there is no hope of winning the title, they should try their best in this game, because the Europa League has become their only hopeful champion.

Verdict:

In terms of fame, there is a big gap between the two sides. But Arsenal is now regressing greatly, and it is not easy to win. The 1X2 first odd is 1.44-4.50-7.00, still support the away team. Arsenal should win this game.

Arsenal VS Slavia Praha

Pick: Arsenal
