BOB PATRICK
As I am gradually getting back in to betting after a 20 year break, I am listing every AW result on spread sheet. This will take a long time, at least 6 months perhaps more. So far i've done 200 results from Wolverhampton. From what I have gathered from other sources on internet draw advantage is low. So in 154 races that had 8 runners or more, how many times did horses drawn 1 win? (I have not split it (as yet) into hcps, sellers, claimers etc. or distances. Have a guess. richard-westwood
I bet at wolv a lot and found there to be a slight low draw bias at up to 7f .....Id definitely feel more confident in a 12 runner race if I was drawn 7 or lower for instance but I'm not keen on draw 1 myself .....I think being drawn so close to the rail can mean you get lost if the others break quick and you have no where to go but into the pack .......stall 1 I'd guess is nothing special ....15 maybe ??But then I tend to back in bigger races 12+ runners .....so it might be stronger with 8 runners naturally Edited March 9, 2018 by richard-westwood
BillyHills
You dont want to be drawn high (above 8) but middle and low are ok, not much to choose between them. Last 4,000 races between 6f and 1m

Last 4,000 races between 6f and 1m Thank you for this Billy Hills. According to your table there doesn't seem to be much advantage to any stall. Is your table winners only? Have you a table for over 8f?

What about races where there were (say) 10 runners to start with but (say) stalls 7, 8 & 9 were non-runners?
BillyHills
The above stats has accounted for NR's thats why its called Stall Alignment and not Stall Numbers I will add the same table will stall numbers instead By Stall Number - disregarding NR's gbettle
