Birchy
Anyone know of any decent data feeds from bookmakers? Preferably something I can use in Python. I want to start comparing odds vs Betfair.

Sir Puntalot
@Birchy - I assume you mean direct XML or API feeds from bookmakers? You won't get it, even some websites aren't being allowed it. We are massively developing our odds system at PL and hope to have a basic odds comparison up and running by the end of March and then build on it from there. Oddschecker has become a total joke, but then they are owned by Skybet so no surprise there. Just a banner farm now. Easyodds is ok, no more than that, we intend to be a serious challenger over time, but it will take time.

I've searched high and low but can't find anything stable. I used the Stan James xml feed many years ago but that's defunct now. For now, I'm going to parse the Sporting Life website and use the "live" prices which are supplied by Sky Bet.
guesser
Anyone here use Bald Frederick's xml feed? The landing page is at xml dot befred dot com, however the trouble is that the file listing there is not up to date. For example it infers that the Championship odds can be obtained from: xml dot betfred dot com forward slash championship dot xml, whereas in reality they're at: xml dot betfred dot com forward slash football-championship dot xml Does anyone have the correct file names for any other leagues? aussibet
Did anyone figure out what's the closest to real-time odds for bet365 there is? Is it easyodds? And what delay are we talking about from your experience? I wouldn't even mind paying a bit for real-time bet365 odds. Nobody developed anything into that direction already? Thanks for your help!
