Tough day but decided to go with Danehill Kodiac at Newbury in the Class 2 handicap. He won at newmarket on his seasonal debut and then was only 4th at Kempton on the AW after leading, i'm convinced he's better on turf and takes on rival Wild Hacked once again, he's probably the opposite and better on polytrack so happy to take him on with Ryan Moore in the saddle to help.

Handsome dude will love the conditions and jockey claim is big plus but 104 day layoff coupled with poor jockey form means I'll scrub that one leaving royal brave and toofi ....both are drawn high which may help or hinder on the day no telling which part will have an advantage but the conditions will at least hold no fearsfor these two so they can take each other on hopefully and set the pace themselves as they have bags of speed both ...priced 20/1 and 16/1 they are perfect bets in a hugely open race
