BillyHills
Shergar Cup Selections (Corals Prices) 1.15: Out Do 5/1 Much better from Out Do last time at Doncaster and i think he should be able to win a handicap off his reduced mark of 105. The O'Meara yard are also in much better form these days and is preferred to Union Rose and Line Of Reason 1.45: Sea Of Heaven 5/2 Joe Fanning has drawn Notorised here which is a bonus having ridden him last time out at Goodwood. That was his first sign go coming back to form although that may have been due to the track as he loves Goodwood. Sea Of Heaven is the obvious selection and a typical Prescott improver and also a C/D winner. Not sure about the jockey but is hard to oppose. 2.20: Plutocracy 10/1 Darshini from the Stoute yard will be popular but he was disappointing last time and others are preferred here. I like the Gary Moore trained Plutocracy who is avery consistent type and has the assistance of the useful Josephine Gordon. This horse was 4th here the other day on his first run since May and will be spot on now for this test and is a nice EW price. 2.55: George Cinq 5/2 George Cinq can be followed here, he's in top form at present and a 5lb rise in the weights shouldn't stop him in this type of company. He's won at Ascot before and is ridden by Martin Harley. Highland Colori bounced back last time os may be a decent alternative for the Balding yard who are flying at the minute. 3.30: Combative 6/1 A wide-open 3yo handicap here and anything could win to be honest. Amanda Perrett often does well here and her Combative looks as interesting as any. He was a decent 5th last time out at Goodwood and doesn't look too badly handicapped. Against The Odds is another to consider for the in-form Paul Cole, he was second at Chester last time but will be more suited to this track. 4.05: Soapy Aitken 12/1 The final race and a 6f sprint to sort out. I like the Hannon horse Papa Luigi on his earlier form and needs to bounce back to win this and my vote goes to the top one Soapy Aitken. His 4th to Easton Angel at Sandown reads well and his last run can be ignored in Group 3 company where the soft ground stop him. Thus is a drop in class and has Dettori on top which helps. BillyHills
Nap Of The Day 3.45 Haydock Park Scottish 2/1 Bet365 Seems to have improved since joining Godolphin and Charlie Appleby and followed up a fair 3rd in the Brigadier Gerard with a smooth success at Newbury last time out. He led all the way that day and while he can be versatile in that regard he may well try and repeat the dose here. Gabrial and Arab Spring are next best on figures but it may well be Foundation who can cause the most problems if he can return to last years form and his 3rd in the Dante.
