vasilli07
FC Dallas -0.75 @ 1.84 v Philadelphia Union Last season Western conference finalists FC Dallas has kept most of their key players(especially Colombian winger Fabian Castillo). The most notable loss imo would be veteran striker Bias Perez. After a poor season, Philadephia has fired CEO Nick Sakiewicz and has been replaced by sporting director Earnie Stewart formerly of AZ Alkmaar. During the offseason, they have brought in some decent players like Chris Pontius from DC United as well as splurging to get a new Designated Player in Roland Alberg. The Union also recently signed the exciting Brazilian playmaker Ilsinho. Key defender Edu and midfielder Barnetta will be out of this game with injuries. It maybe the 1st game of the season but with FC Dallas keeping intact of majority of the starters, team gelling shouldn't be too much of any issue. They should start the season off with a win over a team who haven't beaten them yet in the MLS.

vasilli07
Vancouver Whitecaps -0.5 @ v 1.82 v Montreal Impact Drogba will be out of this game for Impact. His replacement will be Dominic Oduro, a pacy player but doesn't have the composure or finishing ability like Drogba. Last season, Drogba arrival gave Impact a lift which even propel them to the Eastern conference semis. Whitecaps has a 4w and 1l record in season openers. They have impressed in preseason with a record of 5-1-0. Key midfielder and playmaker Pedro Morales is fit and ready to play. With Drogba out for Impact, I think their attack could be blunt which paves the way for Whitecaps to continue their impressive record of winning most of their season opener.
