Back Marin Cilic to win the 4th quarter for a 4/10 stake at 6.50 with Bet365 Back Fabio Fognini to beat Gael Monfils for a 7/10 stake at 3.60 with 10Bet Back Martin Klizan to beat Sam Querrey for a 7/10 stake at 3.30 with BetVictor Back Pablo Cuevas to beat Thomaz Bellucci for a 7/10 stake at 2.45 with BetVictor The only outright that has caught my eye is on Marin Cilic - everyone in his quarter of the draw seems to have some issues to deal with, he hasn't. In terms of match betting, it's purely the underdogs for me on day one. Fognini and Klizan are certainly not far away from Querrey and Monfils, not sure why they're both above 3.00 in all fairness, especially since Querrey and Monfils are no powerhouses at the moment. Cuevas has a 4-1 record against Bellucci, so I fancy him at odds against despite the hard court conditions. Back Timea Bacsinszky to win the 3rd quarter for a 4/10 stake at 9.00 with Bet365 Back Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (-2.5) to beat Zarina Diyas for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Bet365 Back Kristina Mladenovic to beat Sara Errani for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Betway Bacsinszky might have to face only one player from the strong Muguruza/Azarenka/Kvitova trio, so I'm happy to give her a go at 9.00 to win her quarter. Pavlyuchenkova should also get the job done against the injured Zarina Diyas, while I'm also not sure why have Mladenovic as the underdog against Errani. She's been the better player of the two all season long and actually also crushed the Italian when the two last met on Italian clay. Back Pablo Andujar to beat Frank Dancevic for a 9/10 stake at 1.55 with BetVictor Back Tommy Robredo (+5) to beat Andy Murray for a 7/10 stake at 1.73 with Betway Back John Isner (-3) to beat Benjamin Becker for a 7/10 stake at 1.91 with Betway Cuevas threw in two double faults in a row when serving for the match yesterday, that made it as bitter as possible. Anyway, here we go. Dancevic is losing against players like Sekiguchi, Clezar and Bolt these days, so can't see him beating Andujar unless the Spaniard is serious injured. The 5 games head start for Robredo also looks pretty generous if you consider the recent matches between him and Murray and all the questions surrounding the Scot. Finally, I'll throw a few quid on Isner yet again. Tiredness should set in I guess, but it doesn't get much easier than Becker, who hasn't won a full match since the French Open. Back David Goffin (-2) to beat Sam Querrey for a 7/10 stake at 1.85 with Betway Back Marin Cilic (-2.5) to beat Bernard Tomic for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power Back Roberto Bautista-Agut to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for a 7/10 stake at 3.00 with Bet365 Good to see a winning bet again and, who knows, perhaps it will be a clean sweep for the previous post! In any case, I fancy both Goffin and Cilic to win easily today, Goffin is much better than Querrey and Cilic should be way too consistent for Tomic. From what I've seen so far, Tsonga could also be there for the taking, his performance against Coric was rather erratic. For all the flashiness, there are going to be plenty of unforced errors from this side as well - and Bautista-Agut is consistent enough to make that count. Back John Isner to beat Nick Kyrgios for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Ladbrokes Back Ivo Karlovic to beat Jeremy Chardy for a 7/10 stake at 1.53 with Stan James RBA didn't convert a match point on his serve against Tsonga, that was disappointing to say the least. Robredo and Goffin came in, Cilic lost. Just two bets for me today then, one obvious on Karlovic, Chardy is lucky to still be in Montreal in all honesty. Isner also looks worth a punt at odds against, two ways to beat Kyrgios really - either he can beat him on the court, or Kyrgios can beat himself, especially after what happened against Wawrinka in the previous round and all the reactions to that. Will come under pressure, that's for sure. Full preview here: https://www.punterslounge.com/rogers-cup-betting-kyrgios-the-off-court-star-in-montreal

Back Kei Nishikori to beat Rafael Nadal for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Betway Back Ernests Gulbis (+1.5 sets) to beat Novak Djokovic for a 5/10 stake at 4.50 with Paddy Power Kei Nishikori came close to beating Nadal last time out and we all know how things have changed since then. In fact, I think that he's actually been the better player of the two so far in this season, so I'll back him at 1.90 to finally break the Nadal curse. Also, a small punt on Gulbis to take a set off Djokovic. Not very likely, of course, but 4.50? Full preview here: https://www.punterslounge.com/rogers-cup-betting-can-nishikori-finally-beat-nadal-

Back Novak Djokovic (-5.5) to beat Jeremy Chardy for a 6/10 stake at 1.72 with Bet365 Back Andy Murray to beat Kei Nishikori for a 7/10 stake at 1.70 with Unibet Finally a truly superb day, Gulbis could've even beaten Djokovic in the end. Chardy isn't very likely to trouble him, however, so I'll give the handicap line a go, albeit with a slightly smaller take. Murray also looks like a good bet against Nishikori at 1.70. Much more problematic match-up than Nadal was for the Japanese number one, that's how I would sum things up really. Back Andy Murray to beat Novak Djokovic for a 7/10 stake at 2.95 with Unibet A superb chance for Murray I'd say. He's been playing better than Djokovic so far in this event, so, unless he falls into some sort of mind games again (entirely possible unfortunately), this should be a fairly even match that the Scot could easily edge.
