StevieDay1983
One of the most exciting markets relating to the Premier League season is the top goalscorer market. Sergio Aguero finished top scorer in the league last season with 26 goals. Bookmakers have listed him as the 3/1 favourite in the run-up to the first games this weekend. Is he worthy of the favourite tag or will another player take the crown from him this year? Who is your tip? BETS Sergio Aguero to finish as Premier League top goalscorer outright @ 3/1 with bet365 Christian Benteke to finish as Premier League top goalscorer e/w @ 16/1 with Sky Bet Full Preview: https://www.punterslounge.com/premie...-sergio-aguero
salmonman
I reckon Rooney's a decent price, i just hope Van Gaal keeps to his word.
waynecoyne
Aguero is the most likely winner but with his injury record 3/1 looks a bit skinny. Benteke is a decent shout and tasty price, he has had his injury troubles also but if he can stay fit looks the best value to me. Diego Costa without his injury problems last year would have gone close, but he may be rotated with falcao. Patrick bamford at 100/1 ew could be an outsider to follow. I don't know why Mourinho doesn't fancy him maybe he is not dynamic or powerful enough for him with his languid style and skinny frame. Tiger21
I think Benteke could have a chance if he gets going. Could do with scoring early to get some confidence then he could be away. Harry Kane could also be worth an each-way shout at 20/1.
StevieDay1983
Rooney not looking good at the moment but he always goes through peaks and troughs. I can't see past Aguero but e/w on someone like Benteke or Kane are definitely great shouts.
BigVin
taken 100/1 on Bony on the exchange. The price sems generous considering Aguero's injury and the fact Bony plays for a creative and high scoring team in City. It only needs 2 games where city dominate and he gets a pair of hatricks for that price to be slashed considerably.
IanRush-ftw
Vardy is the current favourite, but I'd definitely go against him in the exchanges unless he changes to a year in year out top 6 club in January. Leicester are flying but they will start to struggle as they are now starting to play some of the bigger teams and if Riyad, Albrighton or Schlupp get an injury their team will really suffer imo.I like Lukaku, Kane or Sanchez as good bets for Prem top scorer. A good outsider would be Martial is Van Gaal started playing him as a proper n.9. I still think though that Sergio comes back after the internationals and is fully fit, he will coast to top goal scorer this season.
StevieDay1983
Yes, I agree. Vardy is relying on the supply from players in-form at Leicester right now. At bigger clubs, the players can still play below par but still create chances. If Leicester begin to see their midfielders lose form then the goals could dry up quickly.
