gazzyg
Hi horsey crew ;) Apologies but here goes a shameful cry for decent tip 72 posts no lurker ;) sorry..has he been so bad I miss Komp on the Scottish footy thread :( Anyway Off to Haydock tommorow on works do and as the recognised obsessed punter in the office have been given the dubious honour of picking a winner for a £200 charity bet donated by our local Bank of Ladbrokes. Haven't been keeping up with my race form this year concentrating on a few sports which I can know well like the footy (Saint Mirren for another win tomorrow by the way) and f**k me it's 4 O'Clock in the morning...shit I gotta go to work in 3 hours Baseball and NFL (like i specialise:D these are just some I'm less bad at.......am confident that the extensive Eurovision post I'm posting this week will be on the money.:D ...so any help greatly appreciated 'cause i don't mind (shit what I am saying well alright I do...was gonna say don't mind losing my own dosh blahh blaaahh blahh but I bloody do:D I'd like foremost to keep the charity money intact with the secondary bonus of looking a 'good egg' and competant in one of my vices 'cause to be fair I'm crap at what I do day to day:D SMOKIN BEAU the nap of the racing post's Spotlight appears to be the strongest favourite and is where I'll stick it but if anyone has a more sure tip I'll be eternally grateful. If it's any help I'm fairly near Haydock and it's been pissing it down for the last 2 hours :o OK OK I am ashamed I asked did I say think of the kiddies ? :rollin Cheers lads
DeepBlueDevilFish
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea I wouldn't go for Smokin Beau myself. Not the best quality race on the card but I think Evolution Ex in the 4:30 should give you a very good run for your money especially if the going is good rather than soft. Master Joe
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea Have a great day mate, hope you back some winners!:hope My NAP at Haydock is GENGHIS in 1.50 Race. All he does with every race is improve, he beat Royal Shakepeare fairly easily last time out who runs again here and he looks very hard to beat. Forecast Price: 100-30F

Will let you know tomorrow about my two selections. Cheers, Col

DeepBlueDevilFish
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea My tip could only manage a 2nd as well Ralphie. Sorry Gazzyg. Smokin Beau 2nd too ... :(
gazzyg
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea Thanks for at least trying lads.:ok Swerved Smoking Beau but unforunately the charity money bit the dust as Daryl Holland pushed Annamil past Evolution Ex who I thought might have knicked it in the same style as my own one winner of the day Welsh Emperor. Have to say I'm really disappointed that out of 4,894 'members' only 4 people bothered to even try to give some assistance. Clearly the lounge has become "The world's best betting forum for lurkers willing to say hey thanks any decent hard tips which come along but I have no insight or won't share it myself" Will probably still post what insights I have but very very disillusioned:sad Aagin thanks Master Joe, ColMar, Ralphie and DeepBlueDevilFish for replying

You posted at 11.30 on friday evening. I for one did not log on until saturday around 11.30ish. I didnt see your post until gone 12, therefore thought that i could not lend a hand as you prob wouldnt see it. In the last 3/4 weeks I have been trying to get more people interested in this thread & i have had success in raising the profile. As i have said before, it takes some guts to continously post tips on here as you are up there to be shot at. Rather than seeing the negatives, give some thanks to those who have posted lots of winners in the last 3 weeks - Tanky, Dave, Martin, AK, Joe, Ralphie etc
Master Joe
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea Not many people are posting in ATR as could be. There are alot of Horse Racing fans on this board. I just started posting on Monday. I've already got a Sticky Thread with Draw Advantage so I'm doing well in this section already:clap Maybe if you posted this thread on Friday Afternoon you would have got more replies:ok I will help Bowles10 raise the profile of this excellent ATR Section, I will make more Threads and encourage people to reply:D
bowles10
Re: Shameful Haydock Plea cheers Joe. We dont want to swamp the place with threads, unless they are really useful tools. To date, we have introduced the notebook & Dave has brought in the "draw advantage" which i think are both really handy tools. There are a few of us posting tips now & keeping a record which again gives any viewers the chance to comment as necessary. I commented a couple of weeks ago about the quality of the tipping on here & i still feel the same way. What pissed me off was the way gazzyg "expected" help & then when only 4 people replied in a short space of time, he decided to rubbish the thread. Anyone is welcome on here but PLEASE be positive.
