Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > April 24th - 27th Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid Selections:

  • Celta Vigo +2 AH @ 1.47 (Betfair) - 5 units
  • Celta Vigo +1 AH @ 2.34 (Betfair) - 1 unit

Celta Vigo don't really have anything to play for as they lie mid table, very safe from relegation and 11 points away from a Europa League spot. I usually prefer a team that has something to play for so they're more motivated, but any team would like to take away points from Barcelona and Real Madrid, and Celta Vigo managed just that last season when they beat Real Madrid 2-0 at home. This season, Celta Vigo have lost just once by a 2 goal margin at home from Villareal at the very start of the season. Besides that, they've lost 1-0 to Eibar and Almeria towards the end of 2014. In 2015, they have 4 wins (including a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid), 2 draws (including a 1-1 vs Valencia) and 2 narrow losses vs Atletic Bilbao (1-2) and Barcelana (0-1). Their last home game was a 6-1 over Rayo Vallecano and they just won 0-1 away at Eibar so they are in decent form. So overall, they are fairly strong at home. Real Madrid will be confident, having just progressed to the semifinal of the CL after beating Atletico, but they still have some key injuries, namely Modric, Bale and Benzema. Of course, the overall quality of the team without them still far surpasses Celta Vigo's but I don't think this will be an easy win by any means. Real have lost 4 times already since 2015, but 3 of those were against top opposition (Barcelona, Atletico and Valencia) with the 4th loss having been against Athletic Madrid. Besides that, they've won 4 away games in 2015 (0-3, 1-2, 0-2 & 0-2), so they've only won once with a 3 goal margin in 2015 and that was a local derby @ Getafe. Real Madrid will be extremely motivated to win of course as they know that any dropped points will almost certainly cost them the league at this point and I think they will likely win this game, but only just. Although they could draw if they're not at their top or if Celta Vigo play a great match, but it most likely won't be an easy game at all either way. I doubt they'll manage to win with a 3 goal margin, hence the selection.

Not at all. If they will win against Real tonight then they will be only 2 points behind Malaga which is 7th and this position gives also promotion to EL (because of Cup- if Barcelona wins)

Too bad, Celta Vigo shouldn't have conceded that 3rd goal right before the break. They barely had anyone at the back defending with a only a few minutes to go. They should have just been content with going in with a draw at the break. Was one hell of a first half though.

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > April 24th - 27th Will Granada be thrashed by Valencia today ? One of the best home form against one of the worst away form. The odds for -1.5 at my side has moving downwards fast and constantly. Out of 16 La Liga home matches, Valencia has cleared -1.5 in 10 occasions

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > April 24th - 27th Also team news heavily stacked in Valencia's favor seen here: http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/862219/Preview/Spain-La-Liga-2014-2015-Valencia-Granada Granada also have a home tie with Espanyol and an away fixture with Getafe over the next week, two sides with no desperate need for points, sitting in mid-table nothingness. Valencia however are hell bent on jumping back over Sevilla for that automatic qualification spot. Granada don't have a massive squad so maybe they target the other two matches as better prospects for points without tiring themselves here for what is likely to be 0 points. That angle improves the prospect of the -1.5 here.

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > April 24th - 27th I plowed into Valencia -1.0AH yesterday at 1.475 and had a bit on -1.5AH at 1.975, both dropped quite a bit overnight as Asia got involved I guess..a home win looks a near certainty if you look at respective home and away records. Valencia best at home in the league over the last few months and Granada worst away record in the league..Valencia by at least two for me, biggest bet in last couple of months.
