Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st Championship : Derby County- Blackburn Rovers Most of you know that I hold Derby County in pretty high regard and they are one of our three outright bets in the Championship that are all going well, we desperately need one of those to oblige as the other three leagues have not gone according to plan ! Dream case scenario for me would be a Middlesbrough-Brentford 1-2, that would be my birthday and Christmas gifts for the next 20 years in one neatly wrapped package and we can all dream ! In the meantime, we want to keep County as a back up and this is a very big game for them in terms of automatic promotion hopes. Both played in the FA Cup at the weekend, County won their derby game with Chesterfield 2-0 , it was a very big deal for their neighbours who were really up for the match and brought massive support with them. The Spirites did well , had a lot of possession and chances to score, but at the end of the day the Rams won by two , also hit the woodwork and got through , they were rewarded with a very winable home tie against Reading, but it is 100% about promotion for them. County do have the squad to battle on two fronts, so it is not a major concern right now, but make no mistake, this is the more important fixture of the two home games. Bryson, Dawkins, Ward, Russell, Shotton and Warnock were all on the bench at the weekend, each would probably start each week in 80% of teams at this level and are an indication of the options that Steve McClaren has. I have seen both play at Griffin Park this season, both lost, but County were on a completely different level and I told you at the time that Rovers supporters did not feel they were playing as well as results suggested and that has been borne out since and they have fallen significantly off the playoff pace. They also made it through to R5 of the FA Cup at the weekend, beating Swansea City 3-1, the game was in the balance until late, despite the Swans playing almost the entire game with ten men, they got a home tie with Stoke City as reward, but for now, it will be all about trying to get back into the hunt for a top 6 place. That looks beyond them on what I have seen and read, but they will give it a go and that will probably mean looking for three points this evening and perhaps showing more attacking intent than many teams do at the IPro Stadium. Both teams picked up knocks on Saturday, but the greater options lie with County, who have already beaten Rovers, winning the reverse fixture 3-2, the Rams were coasting there 3-1 up after conceding in the first minute, they totally dominated the first hour after that and then needlessly put themselves under some late pressure, but I feel they could win a little more comfortably this evening. 1.5 units Derby County -0.75 ball 2.11 asian line/Sportmarket.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st Friday TV preview: 5pts Bournemouth vs Watford - Over 2.5 goals 8/11 Boylesports This should be a good match between two sides who like to get it down and attack and with neither being totally tight at the back I am expecting a few goals unless conditions are so bad that both sides struggle to move the ball. Given that the game is on TV I’m sure measures will be in place to assure that isn’t the case so I’d be surprised if this one has less than 2.5 goals. Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st Norwich is a hard one. We lost last week, but I wouldn't be too concerned, it's too early under the new manager to panic. Problem we have is we are missing most our central midfielders, and unless Tettey is fit, it may be a makeshift central midfield again. Whittaker played there against Brentford and I get the impression he struggled. Birmingham pretty potent at home, going great under Rowett, whom I probably would have liked to see Norwich move for, he's impressed me in his short time at Birmingham.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st Saturday TV preview: 3pts Middlesbrough to beat Brentford 6/4 Betfred Every time I have seen them Middlesbrough have looked one of the better sides in this league to me but this is a test for them because Brentford are going well and it isn’t easy going to the tight Griffin Park ground and playing your best stuff. If Aitor Karanka’s men can find their feet though I fancy them to come through this match. They overwhelmed Brentford in the reverse fixture. This one may be tighter but I fancy a Boro win. Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st

It's expected Sheffield Wednesday to sign Sergiu Bus from CSKA(Sofia) until the end of the day.He is a young and talanted striker who will give them creativity and speed upfront. It should be a good signing for them.
As a Sheffield Wednesday fan I am very excited about this. We have been tough to beat all season but have not been able to capitalise on that with wins as our creativity is beyond poor. We are in desperate need of a spark further up the pitch and hopefully this signing will help make that happen.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > January 27th - 31st

Odion Ighalo to score anytime 4.33 Bet365 Ighalo has scored in the last 4 matches, including 4 goals in the last match at home to Blackpool.
Referee ruined the good bet. How can you give such a red card in the FIRST minute. That referee was probably drugged or something. And this is a professional referee with matches in the Premier League. If this had happened in other parts of the world, the referee would have been beaten by the away fans after the match.
