Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October I think Maidstone are going to give Welling a very good run for their money at home on Saturday, Maidstone are a bit short at 17/10 though! Im going to see the team news before I commit. So a watching brief on this game at the moment. I think Leek can also beat Blyth Spartans and the double pays about 7/1 at the moment with Betvictor but Im not going to put anymore than £5 on that.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Price on Maidstone is very skinny. Not saying that they haven't got a chance against them, but Welling have proven in recent weeks they are a decent side and for them to be so close to the home side in the market isn't right. Welling aren't too much shorter than the price I backed them at Southport on Saturday.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Not touching result in Chester game we are rubbishvin cups Stockport on a good run too we also capable of hammering someone it will come we can't keep creating so many chances without taking them. Should be great game and atmosphere with around 5_6000 expected. Im going with over on the goals based on Stockport scoring freely from corners and us being pants defending set pieces coupled with us always likely to score

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Also if Fleetwood give us permission to use Matty Hughesin cup he is good value for anytime scorer 2/3 on loan so far the lad has big future at a higher level got to be one of quickest players at this level and good finisher bit more experience and he will be league1 / championship in couple years

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October This won't win any prizes for originality, but never mind ;-) Addpea has already mentioned both sides in his acca, but I think there is really good value on each to win by two or more. Both are odds against with Marathonbet, who are 102% on Asian Handicaps even for these games - fair play to them. Basingstoke -1.5 to beat Harrow Borough looks nailed on. They are top of Conference South for good reason, but what makes this bet even better is that Harrow appear to be in serious financial difficulty in addition to being third from bottom of the Ryman Prem. Now this may seem odd for a side enjoying their best FA Cup run in many years, but I know for a fact that one player left recently due to not being paid, and if he did, it's pretty likely others did also. Worcester City -1.5 to beat Greenwich Borough is also odds against and looks equally good value. The London side from Step 5 has done fantastically well to make it to this stage but this should be a step too far. With the hosts 6 games unbeaten and mid table in Conference North they really should get home with something to spare. Combined odds of over 7/2 look well worthy of an investment.

Could be worth having a dabble at -2 as well That is paying 14.25 with sportingbet 'Stoke 14/5 & Worcs 11/4 ?

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Macclesfield vs Wrexham 2 DNB @ 1.99 4/10 I have been quite impressed with Wrexham's performance these last two games. The only disappointment was their lack of finishing. Macclesfield are quite strong at home, but i still rate Wrexham who are very motivated for a long cup run the better team tonight.

You could do, but I won't for a few reasons. Firstly it's a bit much to ask for both sides to win by 3. There's always the risk of losing concentration late on to let in a consolation to scupper a bet and this would be quite a bit more likely if you are 3 in front rather than 2. Then there's the percentages - when you price up to 102 the odds only have to be slightly wrong to be in the bettors favour whereas Sportingbet are much higher for their handicaps. As it happens I think there is a fair margin here, but the principle is the same. If you did want to go for a more convincing win, the better option would be team goals, as late consolations and others conceded would not count against you.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Will be at the big game of the round tomorrow and to be honest I wouldn't put anyone off sticking FGR in their bets. We can't defend to save our lives and given Ady Pennock has said in the local paper that he is going to play a full strength team then I rather fear we could be on the end of a pretty heafty beating. Obviously hope I am wrong and I am not having a bet on the game myself as I desperatly want us to win, but FGR have to perform way below par for us to do so.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Greenwich Borough have a number of ex league players (Gary Alexander, Gary Borrowdale) who will be able to guide the others through with experience. Money is also, seemingly, no object for Borough so their preparation in advance of this match will be above that of a normal county league side. They are a team I wouldn't want to write off, so I'd be steering clear. I like Welling United in their match against Maidstone at the prices. Despite losing some strong players over the close season, Welling have done fine so far. They only lost 1-0 at the weekend despite having their keeper sent off on 42 minutes. They held out until the 90th minute when they had their second player sent off. Maidstone are no pushover but Welling should be strong enough to take this.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October i really fancy Gosport to win quite comfortably at lowly willand, last round it took Gosport two games to get past larkhall after letting a 2-0 lead slip in the first game, replay they won 7-0, willand aren't as good as larkhall and I cant see Gosport making the same mistake again minus 1 is 13-10 at pady power minus 2 is 16-5 at paddy power

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October I think chester are a decent price at stockport, stockport are half decent but looked a little lightweight when I saw them at hednesford, imo there is a big gulf between the two respective leagues chester 17-10 at bet victor ps all the bookies are cutting the price on stockport for some reason, matty hughes has been allowed to play by Fleetwood so seems strange, better price for me though!

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round 24th-26th October Not a great thread sadly although BG came up with a couple of winners. How on earth Basingstoke didn't win I don't know and Weymouth got a very credible draw, but I don't get paid out on that. Was not impressed at all with FGR yesterday and the scoreline flattered them massively. We deserved at least a replay as we were the better team in the 2nd half. Jon Parkin was awful although we did allow him to score via an unmarked header. I wasn't massively impressed with them when I saw them on TV earlier in the season either and I struggle to see them being title winners at this stage.
