Re: The Progressives Interception looked the winner all the way until tying up late on, don't know whether it was idling oir not quite seeing out the trip. Might be one who'd be seen in much better light in a strongly run 6f and produced late. -1pt 103.5pts +3.5 7.40 Ripon Boy In The Bar, won maiden at third attempt last run in first time blinkers which are dispensed with tonight. No doubt David Barrons Dutch Art gelding isnt quite the finished article and may even be a bit quirky but he does have ability and and opening mark of 75 looks very workable. He has shown progression each run, from the wild debut where he lost umpteen lengths at the start before running on when the penny dropped, then the free running second run to the comfortable win last run. Obviously there are many potential improvers in here too but 11/2 in places looks fine. 1pt win @11/2(BOG)

Re: The Progressives Boy In The Bar ran 4th after ground went heavy. -1pt 102.5pts 5.10 Lingfield Shasta Daisy. Put terrible turf run behind her when running well back on a/w last run. opening handicap mark of 75 looks fair enough and she should be very competitive off that. 1pt win @9/2(BOG) 8.30 Kempton Extremity. Bounced back to form last run with ready win. Form of maiden win reads very well and taken to continue progression off 82. 1pt win @10/3(BOG)

Re: The Progressives Shasta Daisy ran ok but didnt really have a chance as Doyle decided to race her 3 and 4 wide round the sharp bends. I'd mark her up for that alone but she's becoming frustrating to follow. Extremity ran well but ran into a blot in Idea, still a good run and shouldn't go up to much for a 2nd there. -2pts 100.5pts.
