Re: Ireland > Airtricity League First Division > 2014 Ireland First Division Sat 12th April 19.45 Cobh Ramblers v Waterford 1/2/x odds from oddsportal: 7.5/4.5/1.5 I noticed Cobh Ramblers HOME form was better than Waterford's AWAY form last season. So I think Cobh are attractively priced here at 7.5 Here's a preview I found ... http://www.theloiblog.com/news/match-preview/10-04-2014/cobh-ramblers-v-waterford-united Cobh Ramblers DNB 5.5 Paddy Power Stake: 5 points

Result: Cobh 0 Waterford 0 Bet void - stake returned Stake: 5 points Return: 5 points According to the Cobh twitter feed, Waterford had nearly all the play in the second half. It sounds as though they were a bit lucky to get a draw, and their goalkeeper was one of the best players.

Re: Ireland > Airtricity League First Division > 2014 Sat 3rd May 19.45 Ireland Div One Cobh Ramblers v Wexford Youths This could be a case where the strength of a side's home record is being undervalued. Although Wexford have started well this season and Cobh poorly, Cobh's home record is generally way superior to Wexford's away one. Wexford also have a poor record at Cobh. If this game was at Wexford, I think Cobh would have only a small chance, but at home I think they could well win here, and the odds are attractive at over 5.0 ... Cobh Ramblers +0.5 2.21 sbobet Stake: 5 points

Re: Ireland > Airtricity League First Division > 2014 Finn Harps -v- Longford Town, today @ 3pm BST Finn Harps host champions Longford Town this afternoon in the final league game of the 2014 season. Last weekend both clubs had big matches and occasions. Longford Town confirmed their status as champions of the First Division, and with it promotion back to the Premier Division for the first time in seven years. Indeed all the hard work has been done now and Tony Cousins' players can relax and enjoy today's game. Finn Harps played against St. Patrick's Athletic in the FAI Cup semi-final last Sunday, and although they were hammered 6-1, the game was actually a very tightly contested game until the 40 minute mark. Once St. Pat's scored a third goal just before half time, Finn Harps changed their tactics and were caught out at the back too easily in the second half. Ollie Horgan's men will have been disappointed with their performance, and so I'm sure he and his players will want to end the season on a high, especially as an opportunity to thank their own fans for the season and for coming out in good numbers last Sunday. Today is a game where there's obviously nothing tangible to play for in the league for either team. I think therefore there is an opportunity that presents itself for the home team Finn Harps. This is because Longford can relax now and are no doubt in party mode since winning the league and promotion last Friday. I don't expect Tony Cousins men to give a big performance today. On the contrary, Finn Harps will want to make amends for the embarrassing result last Sunday, and the player themselves will wish to do themselves justice too. Disappointment spurs on better performances, and I feel that's exactly what will happen today. Therefore it's worth backing Finn Harps +0.5AH at 2.07 odds in this game. In the three games between the teams this season, each has been a narrow affair. In the most recent game they drew 0-0 at Longford's City Calling Stadium. The other team games were 1-0 wins for Longford. Today, Longford are less likely to be motivated and I think Finn Harps will want to end their season on a high, especially at home. There's even the possibility that Longford will give some of their fringe squad players a game too. All in all, I think there's value on Finn Harps in this game, and I think they'll avoid defeat. Minimum value on this pick is 1.95 odds. Good luck! My pick: Finn Harps +0.5AH @ 2.07 odds with Pinnacle (1/10 stake)

Re: Ireland > Airtricity League First Division > 2014 Shelbourne v Galway (Promotion - second leg) Galway won the first leg 2-0 (17/10/2014) and I fancy them to finish the job tonight. Their manager already stated that his team will try to win the game and with Shelbourne coming at them from the start I think there will be plenty of chances and hopefully some goals. These two met twice this year (at Shelbourne) and they drew one (1-1) and Galway won the other one (2-4). I think it will be an open game and Galway will prevail in the end. Galway to win @9/5 Galway and Draw @8/15 Over 2,5 goals @11/10 (bet365)
