Re: From Top to Bottom Xtc12 and I have been talking on a different thread and I have provided him with some data, it's too big to put on here so I attach a 100 row sample for the top team and the bottom team should anyone be interested to take a look. Re: From Top to Bottom Going to get this up and running after nearly finishing backtesting for 6 seasons covering all the English Divisions, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga , Ligue 1 and Eredivisie. Out of all the testing only two items showed up in profit for each of the 6 seasons, with over thirty showing profit over the 6 seasons. For the time being I will just follow the ones that had profit in 6/6 seasons as they also had the highest profit. Both of these came in the English League Div. 2 and were as follows: Betting on the top team of Div 2 to draw every week would have given you a strike rate of 33.70% with a level stake profit of 40.53 and a ROI of 15.01%. This staking strategy would only have shown a profit in 4 of the 6 seasons (270 games) with the following results from 2008/09 to 2013/14 respectively: Strike Rate 46.66%, 26.66%, 28.88%, 31.11%, 33.33%, 35.55% Profit 23.85 (53.00% ROI), -3.55, -0.75, 6.15 (13.66 ROI), 5.58 (12.40% ROI), 9.25 (20.55% ROI) Now putting the staking strategy I use in my "Gwan ye Good thing" thread to use, I came up with the following results: Profit 6 out 6 seasons. Profit 67.35 (ROI 47.77%), 14.89 (ROI 7.87%), 37.72 (ROI 16.76%), 7.28 (ROI 3.38%), 41.73 (ROI 22.43%), 60.23 (ROI 30.23%) Using this strategy has given a profit for all 6 of the seasons which would have given you a strike rate of 33.70% with a profit of 279.21, giving a ROI of 26.71%. So with all that number crunching the first bet in the system for the new season will be: English League Div 2 Back whatever team is on top to draw Betting on the bottom team of Div 2 to win every week would have given you a strike rate of 29.25% with a level stake profit of 12.01 and a ROI of 4.44%. This staking strategy would only have shown a profit in 4 of the 6 seasons (270 games) with the following results from 2008/09 to 2013/14 respectively: Strike Rate 24.44%, 20.00%, 31.11%, 26.66%, 37.77%, 33.33% Profit -4.12, 9.76 (ROI 21.68%), 4.52 (ROI 10.04%), -10.77 , 9.18 (ROI 20.40%) , 3.42 (ROI 7.6 %) Once again putting the staking strategy I use in my "Gwan ye Good thing" thread to use I came up with the following results: Profit 6 out 6 seasons. Profit 22.39 (8.14%), 104.77 (48.05%), 45.56 (35.31%), 0.61 (0.18%), 60.69 (30.49%) and 37.51 (15.40%) Using this strategy has given a profit for all 6 of the seasons which would have given you a strike rate of 29.25% with a profit of 271.53, giving a ROI of 19.98%. So the second bet in the system for the new season will be: English League Div 2 Back whatever team is bottom to win The staking strategy must be stuck to, so we will wait and see the tables this evening to get our first bets for next week.
