Re: November/December 2013 Back Ante Pavic to beat Marton Fucsovics for a 2/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power Fucsovics has gone off the boil after making the big splash in Metz earlier this year, so he could easily be there for the taking today. Ante Pavic is a decent opponent, after all, and he has already won three matches in Helsinki earlier on, so he should also be used to the conditions. Re: November/December 2013 Back Evan King to beat Sanam Singh for a 2/10 stake at 3.04 with Pinnacle This price seems to be based on Sanam Singh's good run in Knoxville last week, but this might not be an easy match for him to win really. Evan King ran him fairly close last time out and has already had the chance to play two competitive matches in Champaign, so this price looks a touch off to me. Re: November/December 2013 Back Czech Republic to beat Serbia for a 2/10 stake at 3.25 with BetVictor The odds are probably going to drop, so I am going to back the defending champions today. The latest news are all about Janko Tipsarevic and how he might not be able to play, which would be a big blow to Serbia. With that in mind, there is every chance that this will go down to the doubles - and these odds therefore look worth taking to me here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/czech-republic-vs-serbia-betting-the-defending-champions-look-slightly-overpriced-this-week Back Guilherme Clezar vs Aleksandr Nedovesov for a 2/10 stake at 2.35 with Pinnacle Nedovesov is probably the slightly better player of the two, but he has apparently injured himself in Eckental, so he might be a bit off today. Clezar has found some good form in Columbia last week and should be able to enjoy the conditions much more than Nedovesov, so an upset might easily be on the cards here. Re: November/December 2013 This weekend, Davis Cup Final match will take place in Belgrade Kombank Arena and today's news will shake the spirits of Serbian team! After shocking suspension of Viktor Triocki for a year beacuse of the doping scandal, Serbian team will suffer another loss as Janko Tipsarevic will most likely miss Final matches! His injury is more severe than it seemed at first and he most likely won't be at 100% this weekend and that he most likely won't be able to play at all! Serbian team will most likely feature Novak Djokovic and Boris Pashanski in singles and Nenad Zimonjic and Ilija Bozoljac in doubles. Djokovic will most likely win both matches he is going to play in singles, but all will be decided in the doubles. Zimonjic can't say he had amazing season in doubles and it will hard for him and Bozoljac to win over very good Czech doubles team. Czech team will get morale boost with this news as their chances to defend the title will rise a lot after this. Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek will be the main players in this team in both singles and doubles. Both of them can beat the Serbian number 4 player without any problems and it will all come down to doubles where I feel Stepanek and Berdych will have upper hand for couple of reasons. They are playing togheter for some time now, chemistry is quite good with them, and Stepanek is in amazing form this year (in doubles). This should be very evenly matched event, but looking at the odds, and state of the team, I will place money on guests to defend the Davis Cup title! Czech to defend the Title @ 3 with bet365!

Re: November/December 2013 Back Teimuraz Gabashvili to beat Aleksandr Nedovesov for a 2/10 stake at 2.02 with Pinnacle Nedovesov wasn't that great yesterday, he really wasn't. Gabashvili, on the other hand, managed to defeat Ungur in two very easy sets and is also the classier player of the two, so I do fancy his chances against the Ukrainian. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/gabashvili-vs-nedovesov-betting-teimuraz-gabashvili-should-be-too-strong-for-aleksandr-nedovesov Back Alejandro Gonzalez to beat Jesse Huta-Galung for a 2/10 stake at 2.26 with Pinnacle Gonzalez managed to defeat Volandri in a surprisingly easy manner, so I can see him beating the big-hitting Dutchman as well. After all, Huta-Galung has done very little in recent weeks and months, so he should struggle to beat the in-form South American today. Re: November/December 2013 On paper I would agree with the backing of our Czech friends to win Davis Cup Finals, but please never underestimate the heart of Serbs in an event like this, playing in the capital with thousands of Serbs chanting your name and pushing you forward. I for one will not place a future wager on this tourney but will back the singles matches in one way or another. And don't sleep on Ilija...he's proved he can play when most needed. I just hope Zimonjic brings his A game as it seems his form has fallen over the past year or so. Also worth mentioning (if I remember correctly) the draw vs. USA in the quarters? also came down to doubles match when Ilija/Nenad took out the Bryan Brothers in an absolutely epic match.

In fact, I wouldn't want to back the Czechs at evens, which is where they are at now.

Re: November/December 2013 Back Radek Stepanek Total Games - Over 9.5 for a 2/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power Radek Stepanek is playing the match for a reason and I think that he is not as bad as the bookies think he is. Ten games aren't that much really, so, over three sets, I think that Stepanek will be able to grind them out in one way or another. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/stepanek-vs-djokovic-betting-radek-stepanek-can-win-a-few-games-against-the-world-s-number-two Back Adrian Ungur to beat Aleksandr Nedovesov for a 2/10 stake at 2.40 with Pinnacle Nedovesov is a decent player, but I see no reasons for him being such a big favorite in this one. The two tough matches must have taken some energy from him - and Ungur is playing well enough to take advantage of that and qualify for the semis in Sao Paulo. Re: November/December 2013 Back Alejandro Gonzalez to beat Aleksandr Nedovesov for a 2/10 stake at 1.85 with Betway Fancy going against Nedovesov once again, as he has played yet another tiring match yesterday and might not have enough left in the tank to beat Alejandro Gonzalez, who has been the biggest surprise of the tournament so far and who should be able to absorb the power that Nedovesov can produce on his serve. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/gonzalez-vs-nedovesov-betting-alejandro-gonzalez-to-make-it-through-to-the-finals-in-sao-paulo Back Berdych/Stepanek (-1.5 sets) to beat Djokovic/Zimonjic for a 2/10 stake at 2.20 with Betway The Czechs should have the edge in the doubles, they really should. They have always been able to make things happen in the Davis Cup, so I think that they will be able to outplay Djokovic, who isn't used to playing doubles, and Zimonjic, who had a very poor run at the end of the regular season, today. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/berdych-stepanek-vs-djokovic-zimonjic-betting-the-czechs-can-edge-closer-to-the-title-with-a-decent-win-over-the-serbs

Re: November/December 2013

Some bookies have the czech pair down as Hajek/Rosol unsure ?
Yep, what the teams announce on Friday is very often very different than what actually happens. I can assure you that Hajek and Rosol won't play today. The Serbs can still go with Bozoljac and Zimonjic, but it would be a bit surprising.

Re: November/December 2013 Back Tomas Berdych to beat Novak Djokovic for a 1/10 stake at 10.20 with Pinnacle Crazy? Well, probably. However, Berdych seems to be playing really well and has no pressure on his shoulders, so why not really? Moreover, he apparently wasn't there to help his teammates after the first set of the doubles yesterday, so perhaps there are some issues in the home camp as well. At odds above 10.00, this should be worth a punt. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/berdych-vs-djokovic-betting-a-small-bet-on-a-huge-surprise-might-turn-out-to-be-the-right-choice-today Back Radek Stepanek (-6) to beat Dusan Lajovic for a 2/10 stake at 2.13 with Pinnacle I hope that there won't be a fifth rubber, but if there will, I think that Stepanek will be able to seal the deal without any real difficulties. He is a much better player than Dusan Lajovic and, perhaps even more importantly, he is a much more experienced guy than the young Serb. Stepanek sealed the deal for the Czechs last year - and there is every chance that he will be the hero once again.
