bigmick
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd I think Swindon look a good price 1.9 coral to win against Walsall. Swindon are very strong at home have a good blend of youth and experienced players with a lot of games in the championship behind them. They have 5 or 6 really good players for league 1. Ryan Mason on loan from tottenham could become a star and he is fit again. Also Nile Ranger seems to have settled in well.(i.e not been arrested yet). He was a bit of a laughing stock at times at Newcastle but you dont play 50 times for them unless you have some ability. In Foderingham Swindon have one of the best keepers in league 1. Walsall have started excellently away from home but i just think quality wise there is quite a sizeable difference between the two teams. MPLouis
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd I've had a look down Tuesday's fixtures and the latest shots on target stats, and I think these four teams are good value. The team I suggest has shots stats that compare well with their opponents and the odds are too long I believe. I've chosen the best competitive market, whether straight win, DNB or AH0. Some of these team might be theoretical 'good value' on form as well, but I prefer to concentrate on shots stats. Peterborough v Sheffield Utd Sheffield Utd DNB 3.9 Ladbrokes Coventry v Leyton Orient Orient 3.0 BetVictor Crewe v Stevenage Crewe 0 1.71 Pinnacle Wolves v Oldham Oldham DNB 4.33 Stan James
Simeon Borisof
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd Does anyone know why the odds on Peterborough are so high?Bet365 offers 1.75 for a HW.Peterborough is the most in form team in the league and welcomes one of the worst playing teams with awful away form who concedes every much at least a couple of goals? laneystain
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd Crawley v Port Vale - Home win @ 10/11 The home side are in good form in the league at the moment, with Saturday's 1-0 win against impressive Bradford the latest 3 points. That took Crawley up to 8th and they're a strong side at home (1L in previous 13). I've got a feeling Vale are just beginning to stutter a bit after promotion having lost their last 3 games scoring only 1 goal. There seems to be a bit of value in Crawley here who do try and play some good football at times. They were unlucky to come away from Molineux with no points earlier in the season and really impressed me.
cornelinho
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd I think that Peterborough will not win this one! Sheffield have a good squad and with the Carre taker manager Chris Morgan they have managed to win for the first time! Also played well in Coventry! Peterborough cannot win forever and this is the ideal moment to stop!
Manila_Playa87
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd Crewe now out to $2.20 Edit - on second thoughts not difficult to see why they've drifted. Crewe have not defeated stevanage the last 4 meetings

allthethings
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday October 22nd One void (Sheffield Utd) and three losers from these games 1 point return from 4 points @ 1 point level stake per bet Staked = 4 points Return = 1 point Profit = - 3 points (- 75%) It's worth taking a look at how often matches with odds offered for DNB (as opposed to +/-0.25) finish in a draw. The odds for the draw in these situations are often set at about 3.4, which is pretty huge if you think about it. I think you'd find that in most leagues when the favorite in a DNB situation fails to win the match, they draw in many more matches than they lose outright...three leagues where I know this occurs are Germany 2.Bund, Romania Liga I and Spain Segunda...the break-even is about 31 to 32%, and in these cases they draw about 37%, a clear edge.
