However, we picked up a couple of winners after that and the overall loss for the weekend was less than the value of the stake unit, so not all that bad in the end. A bit of battle damage on the bank and yield but nothing catastrophic. With that in mind I thought it might be useful to post a chart of the bank balance over the course of the season to date - trying to convince myself that we are still on an overall upward trend! Right, so while I did realise that this was a rearranged fixture I hadn't realised that it is kicking off at 10mins into the match - the time of abandonment of the first fixture. Apparently this is why a number of bookies are not offering pre-match odds. You should be able to get on it in-play though. I also suppose you need to take into account there is only 80mins of normal time left to hit 3 or more goals. Still, the match ratings look favourable to the overs so I'm comfortable sticking with this selection. The 1.96 that Unibet were offering has now dropped to 1.85 but Betfair is still the right side of 1.90 when I just checked. You might have a point, protecting the bank is a good principle to stick to (at least for those of us that actually put money on the selections :p). It's been a bit of a funny season really with some of the historic patterns going out the window, not just with my systems ratings but also with the old Home Win system of yours. I probably should be grateful to have squeezed out any profit from 180 or so bets. 7% yield is not so bad really.
