Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 Worcester City at home to Gainsborough Trinity (6/4 BetVictor) With one just one win all season between them, both sides have been in poor nick after a turbulent summer of cost-cutting. But despite Gainsborough's excellent three points against Barrow on Saturday, I'm giving the edge to the home side. They've had a tough series of fixtures - Alty, Boston and BPA have been the visitors - but performances have been improving and the recent signings of Exodus Geohaghon and Nathan Rooney add a level of experience that their thin squad was missing in August, while Richard Taudry had a very good debut in midfield in the 0-0 at Colwyn Bay on Saturday. Gainsborough's squad have been taking a few verbal pops from the management about their lack of quality, though there is no doubting their spirit against Telford and Barrow at home but away from home they've been distinctly off colour in three defeats. Corby Town away at Banbury United (7/4 Marathon) There's not a huge amount in the price, but enough to get me interested. With Tommy Wright and Andrew Wilson in place as the new managers, Corby's dismal start to the season has been forgotten - in fact, since conceding nine in the opening two games, they've drawn at Arlesey and lost to a last minute goal at St Albans - both games that they looked very good in - while beating Hinckley, St Neots and Bashely at home. Admittedly, those home games were against weakish opposition, but they outfought Barwell on Saturday for a very good 3-0 in the cup. Gareth Jellyman is out for a spell, but even so they have a buoyant squad than go close against a Banbury side that has lost to Hemel and Frome at home and were woeful against Cirencester in the cup on Saturday. It's a little hard to predict which Banbury will turn up but Corby are too far out at this mark.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 Betway have FA Cup 1st Qual replay prices out. Grantham Town have been an occasional play this season and they did enough in the 0-0 at Stamford to suggest 2.05 is a decent price about the replay, especially with a question mark about who'll be Stamford's keeper on Tuesday. I also fancy West Auckland Town at home to Whitby Town at 2.4, even though Whitby have been in better form away than at home. West Auckland have a very strong squad this season and they're mid table in the Northern League mainly because they've played fewer games than the teams above them - their record is 3-3-0. John Campbell - 40-odd goals last season - notched the equaliser on Saturday and was a handful all day. Atherstone Town? Hardly any chance, of course, in the replay at Redditch but probably a greater chance than the 10.0 quote suggests. Redditch needed a late equaliser and although they looked a class apart when they were on top, Atherstone never stopped fighting and are a sporting play at this mark.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 I have had a large double on north ferriby to beat Workington and Hampton to beat cray, a hednesford fan told me that ferriby are the best team hes seen this season and at 4-6 I have to take them to beat Workington who struggle away(long midweek journey as well) and cray are shipping goals for fun basically so Hampton look the bet imo

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 in the fa cup I have taken Bognor to beat frome at 5-4,bognor were much the better team Saturday according to reports before being pegged back by a late equaliser and with midweek home advantage I think they will beat a frome side who haven't been scoring many

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 Happiness is a 9/1 shot landing on a Monday night: Atherstone came from a goal down to equalise on HT and notched the winner from the spot with ten minutes to go. I think that's the biggest single win price I tipped on here, apart from Cov Sphinx at Stafford some seasons ago at 10s.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 No 9/1 chance but hopefully a couple of winners Guiseley v Bradford Park Avenue Opposing Guiseley has paid off in their last couple of games and I am going for the hat-trick on Tuesday night. As I mentioned on Saturday they sacked their manager last week, but it didn't change much on the pitch as they were beaten 3-0 by Boston. Bookies continue to price Guiseley up as if they are the same team who finished second last year, but they aren't. Bradford got of to a poor start to the season, but they are improving and put in their best effort yet to beat AFC Telford 3-1 on Saturday. Bradford are above their hosts in the table and really should not be 12/5 (Betvictor) to calim the three points. Whitehawk v Havant & Waterlooville The home side finally seem to be adjusting to life in the Skrill South after getting off to a woeful start. They have won their last couple of games and are certainly improving. Havant have been hit by a few injuries and they have lost three of their last four games. With Whitehawk improving and Havant hit by injuries, I think a home win is appealing at 13/10 with BetVictor and Coral.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill North & South, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 16 Middling night with Worcester and Corby both failing and Grantham somehow letting it slip against Stamford but there was a win for West Auckland, and a decent profit on the midweek session overall thanks to Atherstone. Excellent calls by addpea on BPA and a superb Hampton/Ferriby double by bromsgrovegreen.

I'm afraid I got a bit greedy with a HT/FT double as it would have paid well over 6/1. Always a bit galling when a team wins 4-0 but can't score before the interval:cry.
