Partick Thistle v Hearts - Thistle -0.25AH @ 1.88 with 188 Bet (3pts) Been impressed by Thistle's start to SPL (can't get used to calling it the Premiership) life. They're full of energy and attacking intent. Last week's 3-1 win at Ross County can't be underestimated - Dingwall has long been a seriously hard place for visitors. Even against Dundee Utd the week before, Thistle's desire and enthusiasm was to be admired. Friday night at Firhill will produce a buoyant atmosphere under which the team will thrive. Hearts, meanwhile, are a shadow of the sides we've come to expect from them in recent years. Even though they won the derby last week, they rode their luck and managed to net with their only real chance of the encounter. What experience they did have in Ryan Stevenson has now been lost to injury and I think that will prove telling. Their away record has been horrible for a long time and I don't think they've got the tools to turn it around. Aberdeen v Celtic - Celtic -0.25AH @ 1.73 with 188 Bet (6pts) Other than in Old Firm games (remember them?) I don't think I've ever seen Celtic priced as big as evens to win a league game. The temptation is strong to lump on, but I've decided to approach this one with a touch more caution. Celtic's only priority right now is qualifying for the Champions League - they're off to Kazakhstan for the first leg of the final qualifying round next week - and they know they can afford to fall behind in the title race, confident they'll leave others in their dust later in the season. That's why I've taken draw cover - fear Neil Lennon may leave out likes of Scott Brown and Georgios Samaras. Aberdeen are looking in good nick this season, with two fine wins under their belt already. At the end of the day, whatever the Celtic line-up, man-for-man they will be stronger all over the park, and whether this bet wins or loses, it feels like an opportunity that can't be ignored. Re: Scottish Football > 16th - 17th August Queen of the South draw no bet @ 4/5(5/6 with betvictor,4/7 with Paddy P).Livingston lost their 1st league game away at Alloa last week 1-0 but I watched the highlights and they were unlucky not to get a draw.They were missing a few and will continue to miss them tomorrow.They will have a young team but that doesn't mean they'll get steamrolled as they have some good young talent.I think Queen of the South possess more of a goal threat with Lyle and Russell(15 goals for Livi last season).I watched the highlights of their 4-3 win over Dundee and they were by far the better team.They looked really sharp and dangerous around the edge of the box.They went up 4-1 could have made it 5 and then let in two sloppy goals from set pieces!!Livingston didn't really look dangerous from their set pieces.I think that with Livi's absences and Queen's good form(unbeaten in their last 5 games,incl friendlies,scoring 4 against St Mirren and scoring 14 goals in all conceding 3),that the away team have a good chance of not losing...

They looked devoid of confidence and ability all over the park in the opener against Caley, I've already tipped them to go down (despite Hearts starting with a 15pt deficit) and there's nothing I can really think to say in their favour. Killie are in no great shakes either, but there's some talented young players in their group. New loan signing Jackson Irvine is very highly rated and in Kris Boyd there is always a goal threat. Inverness CT v Motherwell - Over 2.5 goals @ 1.99 with 188Bet Could be in for a classic in the Highlands this afternoon. Two sides who will be right in contention for the European places at the end of the season. Both full of attacking intent. Caley haven't conceded this season, but they'll get a tough test here and I'd expect Well to net. At the other end, Caley are full of pace and power and look to create opportunities every time they get the ball. good luck

Last season they started out the season in Div 3 with something like DDDL on away before getting used to playing in nowheresville. I can't imagine they'll win every game this season, and the odds are fantastic...but can't pull the trigger.
