In their last 4 games they have scored 2 against Real Sociedad and Valladolid, 3 against Espanyol and 5 against Malaga. However, their defense is not that impressive and they have conceded 16 goals in their last 10 games. Last 4 home games at Mestalla between these two sides ended as follows:

• 2013: Valencia 2-1 Osasuna
• 2012: Valencia 4-0 Osasuna
• 2010: Valencia 3-3 Osasuna
• 2010: Valencia 3-0 Osasuna

Re: La Liga > 3rd - 6th May zzzzzz :zzz all quiet on the Spanish front. Thinking about Real Sociedad away to Getafe. Sociedad undefeated since November and want to stave off Valencia who are only 2 points behind them in the last Champions League position. The recent results of Getafe suggest that they have given up on European qualification and are mentally checked out as they have lost their last 3 and haven't won in 5. Socidad are missing a couple of midfield players but if Getafe aren't motivated to win, then this overrides that factor. Maybe taking Sociedad on the 0 handicap with Benfica will return decent odds....

You do realize that Sociedad this year and Sociedad in the previous years are two different teams?! They finished 12th and 15th in the last seasons and now they are almost certain to play in Champions League. Last year they got 14 away points altogether, now they got 23 so far. Statistics needs to be put in a context. P.S. Not saying Sociedad will win, just don't agree with such method of comparing different teams in different years and making conclusions about value. Knowing the performance and the motivation of both teams this season, 1.80 for home or draw seems like a very fair price.

Re: La Liga > 3rd - 6th May Getafe vs Sociedad Both teams will miss a couple of regular starters, Getafe defenders (Alexis, Miguel Torres) and 2nd best goalscorer Colunga, Sociedad midfielders (Xabi Prieto - key playmaker, Asier Illarramendi). Griezmann comes back for Sociedad (was suspended for cards). Looking at their form (Getafe lost 3 in a row and drew 2 before, RSSS destroyed Valencia 4-2 in a morale boosting game and have a record of 2draws and 3 wins in last 5) and assuming there is a huge motivation gap (with 5 games left Getafe are almost mathematically safe and do not look like they want Europe, Sociedad on the other hand have played an amazing season and fight for CL) as well as considering the missings IMO the favourite is RSSS. I would go for away win, away over 1,5 goals, away handi (-1) also looks like worth a shot.
