Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Not a lot for me this session, but Marathon are going 19/10 about Bromley away at Sutton United, and that's too high. Bromley are in decent nick on their travels, four wins out of six with only one defeat (at Salisbury). Although Sutton's home record is excellent - four straight wins – the last time out on their own patch was a scratchy performance in beating Basingstoke, and they have been pretty meek in their most recent showings - defeats at Chelmsford and Havant. Bromley are functioning pretty well going forward and defensively they should be organised enough to cope with a Sutton that has lost its way to goal. It's no gimme but I'd set Bromley closer to 11/8. Havant & Waterlooville - who did very well for this thread over the weekend - can continue the good work at a widespread 11/10, though I wouldn't chase the price down any further. Bath City are a decent side in the making and perhaps could have got something at Dover on Saturday for all their possession but they are a youngish, mistake-prone side and Havant have the weapons going forward. Stourbridge have the edge over Banbury United, I think, with Banbury only managing one win in six. They were limp against Bedworth and although a couple of missing bodies should be back tomorrow, they are not nearly as confident as they are on their travels. Stourbridge are not as free-flowing as last season, but they they have a decent away record and a happy knack of digging out results. The initial 10/11 has gone but 17/20 is just about worth taking and better might appear. Rushall Olympic at a widespread 11/10 are a decent price against Buxton. Buxton's away record is stunning, but successive away draws at Frickley, Blyth and Whitby suggests that they've lost the killer instinct away. Rushall are unbeaten in ten and playing some decent stuff. I wouldn't chase the price down any further, however.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7

what abouth Bredford ' date=',have superb form win tonight?[/quote'] Hard to argue with Bedford Town, vlaso. They have been gathering the points whereas Bedworth haven't won since the start of December. Having said that, everything is factored into the price. Bedford lost late on against Hemel, but they didn't really deserve anything from the game and before that were pretty lacklustre at Bashley and although they beat Cambridge City, the visitors were down to ten men. The home performance against a tough Barwell side, though, was very impressive. There's a case to be made that Bedworth are better than recent results and performances have improved marginally (they were the better side away at Banbury), but they have quite a bit to do to get anything from this match. I wouldn't put you off Bedford - you should certainly get a run for your money, and three Bedworth players are on seven-day approaches from other clubs, so they may be missing tomorrow.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 I may be looking at playing on Southport turning over Cambridge. The away team, who had won away at Tamworth, steadied their ship further after four previous defeats with a draw at home to FGR at the weekend, and Southport grabbed a draw against a somewhat rejuvenated Dartford, who were been helped by the return of Harry Crawford on loan. It originally looked like a no bet but I notice that Cambridge's top scorer, Michael Gash, has gone to aid Kiddy's fight for the title. In those circumstances I think a play on the home team at a generally available 2.3 looks ok

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Dennis Greene in at Boston United until the end of the season. Difficult to see what's gone on with Drury. Results were poor, but he inherited a poor squad and made plenty of changes, getting his own bodies in, so it was unlikely to be problems in the dressing room. He was about to sign a couple of attacking players, so perhaps there was a spat about funds for that. A good part of the fanbase never took to him, probably because he came 'from below' and therefore lacked the 'big club' experience necessary, although you have to say his record over the seasons is very healthy - he made Stamford a competitive outfit twice, and also did okay at Corby until the finances dried up. Greene is a good replacement, though, and perhaps the thought from the board is that he is better able to work with the players at his disposal given the budget.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Dartford v Stockport The away side did have a little upturn in form when the new manager came in, but that didn't last long at all and they have lost their last three games. They look worth taking on again on Tuesday night with a Dartford side who have been very hard to beat at home this season. They have only played twice at home in their last six league games, but they have won them both and Luton and Macclesfield are both better rivals than Stockport. They also played well at Southport on Saturday when getting a 2-2 draw and were a little unlucky not to pick up three points. BetVictor and Coral both go 21/20 and that is a price worth taking to me. Billericay v Farnborough It doesn't surprise me to see both promoted Ryman Premier sides in the relegation zone in the Blue Square South as I thought both would struggle, I do however think Billericay are worth a bet on Tuesday. I have mentioned a few times about how bad Farnborough's away form is and added to this is the fact that it looks like all might not be happy off the field with the club either, which won't help matters. They only got a draw at home to the other promoted side AFC Hornchurch on Saturday and given Billericay have performed pretty well at home I think they are worth backing at 9/5 with BetVictor and Boylesports. Havant & Waterlooville v Bath City Havant did us a massive favour on Saturday as I was spot on in thinking they would win now they had an easier game after a tough set of fixtures. I see no reason why they can't follow up on Tuesday against Bath. Bath have been a bit hit and miss this season and you never really know what you are going to get from them, but on balance I think Havant look a good bet here and they are a best price of 23/20 with Boylesports. Boston United v Gloucester City Just before starting to write this it was announced that Boston had sacked manager Graham Dury. He hadn't been in the job long, but it is fair to say he hadn't done a great job and they had only picked up six points out of a possible 33 since the turn of the year. That is obviously a worry, but with Dury gone I do expect a better performance and this looks a very winnable game for them. Gloucester have been very unlucky with the fixtures as they follow a long trip to Workington on Saturday with a long trip to Boston on Tuesday night. If that wasn't enough they also have a few players missing and it looks like one of City's best players Lewis Hogg will be missing as he suffered from painful back spasms on the trip home from Workington on Saturday. They did win that game, but it was a very poor match won via a penalty and those two long trips with a small squad is surely going to have a massive effect. I have to back Boston here despite the poor form and 8/5 with Boylesports looks too big to me. Harrogate v Colwyn Bay The final bet of the night also comes in the Blue Square North and it is Colwyn Bay. They have improved massively since former Chelsea player Frank Sinclar took over as manager and got a crucial win against Corby on Saturday. Prior to that they had got two really good draws against Guiseley and Altrincham. Now Harrogate are in pretty good form at the moment and they obviously deserved to be strong favourites, but I really do think the away side are over priced at 7/1 (BetVictor and William Hill) and they are worth a speculative punt at those odds.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Two spread trades for me tonight - high risk affairs with a containable downside. I've sold the time to the 2nd Stockport goal at Dartford at 78 (Sporting Index). They've wobbled in the last three, but they've been without the suspended Alex Kenyon, who returns tonight and is key to their survival chances. Dartford have been excellent at home but have been conceding late goals, a sign perhaps that they are tiring and I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of bodies rested in preparation for the game on Friday night. I've also sold the 2nd Barrow goal at Alfreton Town, again at 78 with Sporting. With a reshaped defence and Efe Sodje putting in a good shift, the side looks a lot more comfortable than it did a month or so ago. Goals are hard to come by, but Alfreton offer encouragement in that they've managed just one clean sheet at home.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Makes sense to lay off Colwyn Bay given the massive price I backed them at. Meanwhile a Gloucester player went off injured, but the sub himself has had to come off as he was still injured.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 Mixed for me tonight: Stockport couldn't convert one of their many early chances for a second at Dartford for a 12 point loss. On the fixed odds Bromley and Rushall failed but there were wins for Havant and Stourbridge. Sublime stuff from addpea tonight with Havant, Billericay, Boston and - best of all - 7/1 Colwyn Bay landing. Absolutely top-drawer punting!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 I've added the two Thursday games at the top of the thread - Halifax/Harrogate and Concord/Wingate & Finchley. All four sides played Tuesday and all but Wingate & Finchley play Saturday. They've negotiated themselves a 1pm Sunday kickoff at home to Thurrock (though they have a London Cup game with Hendon on Tuesday)

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7

halifax had an easy stroll on tuesday so might be worth backing inrunning against harrogate who also played on tuesday, i will see how the games panning out and probably get involved at some stage
halifax 1-0 down after 5minutes,theyre now 7-4 inrunning tt 365 so i have had some interest in them, enough time for a comeback hopefully concord wingate also inrunning and wingate have taken an early lead
