Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5

Lincoln to beat Woking who will be without Brett Johnson after his sending of at Hyde.
Don´t know how important Johnson is, but Lincoln looks too good to miss (good form, 50 % homewins). Woking concede too many goals all the time and are weak away (having one of the worst goal records in the league). Odds are ok. I´ll try Lincoln AH -1 2.38 Pinnacle 3/10 Over 3 1.94 looks pretty nice and obvious as well (Woking has 19 overs/2 unders; Lincoln 13 overs/6 unders) but one bet is enough on a lower league match.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 I've sold the time of the 2nd Hyde goal at 78 (Sporting, Spreadex). Defensively, Macclesfield have been struggling, and Hyde's ability to score has never been in doubt. There will be plenty of goals in this one, and I'm tempted by total goals, but I'm banking on Hyde catching Macc in the same defensive shape that has dogged them in recent matches. It's a containable downside, too. I'm also thinking of the same trades on Cambridge at Ebbsfleet and Barrow at Telford, but I'm waiting until I can see the shape of the teams until getting involved.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5

I don't know a thing about England lower leagues you seem pretty confident about Macc-Hyde game being a goal fest and Lincoln at home against Woking. So i am considering a double here with high stakes?
Macc have been fairly solid at home but all their home games have produced at least two goals and their last two have been a 1-2 defeat and a 0-3 defeat. Performances have been dropping off and they've had some issues with their defensive formation. Hyde's performances are remarkably consistent - they like to be on the front foot home and away. Having said that it's hard to predict their results as they defend poorly at times - they counter-attack very well (clinically at times), but they can also concede in games they are bossing. Personally, the spreads on total goals are set a bit high for me (3.15 to buy), which is why I like the play on Hyde's 2nd goal. There's a decent upside potential, and if I've called it wrong the downside is acceptable. To be honest, I wouldn't go in with a lumpy stake if these were teams that I was unsure about.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 In addition to my usual draw strategy (Hyde and Woking), I am on the over 2.75 @ 2.05 (5Dimes) in the Telford-Barrow match. Neither team ever seem in the mood to keep a clean sheet...your basic stats-related pick. The h2h hasn't shown goals, and each have had runs of actual good defending, but that's how you get a plus line in this league.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5

Any reasons why the price on Lincoln have raised so much as it has?
This seems normal to me as people ask themselves the question, "Why on earth would Lincoln be a 1.85 favorite to anybody, given how poor their defending has been?" I took the draw @ 3.7, which strikes me as good value.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 Just a quick round up of my bets tonight. I fancy Ebbsfleet who are in decent form at the moment to win at home to Cambridge who I am still not certain about and the home side look over priced. I am backing Lincoln and the drift makes them a good price. I am wary of any side who gets beaten so heavily as sometimes it makes them go out to prove a point, but they have really been leaking goals away from home and with Lincoln in fantastic form they are a bet at even money. The FA Cup might be an issue but I think that is now factored in to the price. Hyde are way too big against Macclesfield as simply Hyde are a better team right now, but the bookies have not priced it up like that. Nuneaton draw a lot of games at home and I think they can get another point against Dartford tonight. Tamworth have won their last two games, but I think they have been lucky to and Kiddie are on a superb run at the moment and despite the fact they have been backed I still think they are a good price to win tonight.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 Haven't seen our team tonight but Buckle has said he will make changes for tonight. While I don't expect that to mean we'll play 11 kids, it'll be more like players coming back from injury like Shaw, Fleetwood, Dance etc etc but it will be a different side. Dorchester got a 2-2 draw against our first team last week and were unlucky not to get another one in the FA Cup on Saturday. Reading between the lines I don't think winning is the maximum priority for us tonight, if we do we do but I don't think anyone high up will worry too much if we don't given that we've got the money spinner we wanted in the FA Cup. Given how close they've pushed our first team in the two games so far, if Dorchester aren't too tired then at 6/1 they could easily land the spoils tonight. With Matlock away waiting for the winners whichever one of us wins looks to have a chance of going deep in the competition which should make sure Dorchester are up for it so a small play at 6/1 on them to win could pay off.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 Just seen the team. 8 changes from Saturday including in goal which could be crucial. Tyler saved us bigtime on Saturday and Brill isn't nearly as good. Two youngsters starting in Robinson and Lacey while Dance, Shaw and Watkins all back from injury. Sort of team I expected really but very much a different one to Saturday.

I have come on to post up my tips to see you have gone for them all!! Only other I have gone for, simply because I have been on it every time the game has been off, is Havant to win at Braintree. I am not sure I can even remember the reason for it anymore!!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 3-5 I cant believe Hyde have done it to me again. At least this time I was able to cover myself and lay some of my bet off, but even so its still massively frustrating. I think I am owed a few 90 minute goals going in my favour given how many I have had against me this season.

Should add I was on Crewe like a lot of others and Donny got an injury time equaliser.

Don't forget to chuck in the fact that Liam Daish specifically praised his defence this week...of course they promptly shifted four including two in a minute from a winnng position. Havant rescued my night....
