Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary ah, watched the 7.40, should have known Hughes/Hannon combo round here adds about 5lbs to thier chances it seems!! One that got away i think! I looked at its form and the newbury run wasnt too bad to be honest and expect it out on Jubilee day just as Royal Wedding won last year!!

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary 8.40 Windsor MARYGOLD could surprise a few here especially notably over 5f. Likes to make all and therefore should be therabouts at the business end and can stay further, in fact often runs over 6f, and this is why i am on it as i think it could start value price MARYGOLD 25's at Paddy Power 8.10 Settled down to 4 possibles here, Greylami, Uphold, Ramona Chase and Australia day. Fallon booking for Australia day is notable here as the horse has done well over jumps this season and i just think the mark of 90 may be too much but will take them along which should help my other horse UPHOLD who i do fancy to improve upon its 5th place here 2 weeks ago as the ground is going to be much faster and this one will be front rank throughout and may have the speed this time to hold on. RAmona Chase will run at the derby meeting so for me i would expect its having an outing to prepare and Greylami has a decent chance but being a hold up horse may just have too mcuh to do here UPHOLD 7.40 Dificult to see past the HAnnon trained favourite here although Channon take sit on with 2 juveniles of which either could be taking the favourite close. For me its an interest in a s/fc of HAIRY ROCKET/JONTLEMAN 6.10 This looks an ideal race for POLAR ANNIE to start off in after winning 3 times at Chepstow last season, the horse ends up with the highest rating here and will possibly take advantage of that chance. Another i like is SCARRLET ROCKS who i have backed before here and also trainer David Evans had a great season here last year and will start banging in the winners soon POLAR ANNIE WIN SCARLET ROCKS WIN EXACTA

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary another monday night approaches early thoughts 6.40 SUPAHEART will be suited to the conditions here and will be able to dictate and on the fast ground that is where you need to be. Hughes and Hannon should be watched also though with Gold Spectre as Hannon has won this race a few times and if hughesie gets his nose in front again, he will be hard to beat. So Supaheart and Gold Spectre are the 2 in the shortlist for me more to come...

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary ok for tonights fast ground, list of horses that are PROMINENT in the race as nothing will come from the back 6.10 only 3 runners, but if one of the other 2 takes the favourite on, i can see value in laying the fav 6.40 Ive alreayd plumped for SUPAHEART and GOLD SPECTRE 7.10 TAGULA NIGHT CD winner GANAS BATHWICK BEAR KUANAYO FAIR VALUE 7.40 ELNAWIN MARKAB 8.40 STEUBEN VASILY TASFEYA so not sure how to play just yet but consideration will be given to these front runners, te quality in the last race doesnt look great so maybe one may be good enough to come out of the pack to win.

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary tonights meeting at Windsor, its not a monday but there are 2 from my list running in same race 7.30 Midnight rider whom i prefer slightly to Midnight feast in the race. The form of the race behind Highland Colori is working out well and these 2 should be thereabouts again. The softer ground slightly favours Midnight rider for me Back both just in case Midnight rider 12/1 sportingbet Midnight feast 16/1 sporting bet

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary its going to be very heavy ground tonight so dont park on the grass! 6.10 Hannon's juveniles always do well here but the ground may throw up a bigger priced animal, I'm looking at Cardmaster (16/1) drawn 16 or Overrider (12/1) (drawn 12) both sired by the decent Cockney rebel who only raced once on soft ground but acted on it. There isnt much else to get excited about as quite a few non runners and looks like a few favourites may go in tonight will have a few bets in the 1st race 6.10 Cardmaster 16/1 Overider 12/1 win on both comb forecast with Red refraction also

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary -2 last week need to do better than i have been here so far but the ground hasnt helped! 7.40 6f one horse i have seen a few times is JACK MY BOY for David Evans. This is the outsider of 10 in this race at 20/1 however i hope i can make a good case for it here as i need a big price one to get my windsor confidence going!! Firstly David Evans has won this twice in the last 4 years and often does ok when down at Windsor. Jack my boy has ran 38 times and won 5 all on fast ground so is the softer conditions against the horse? The horse has 10 runs on ground G/soft or worse, figures of 6033654022 show that it possibly acts on the surface as a number of decent efforts over the years. Its last win was in MAy 2010 off a mark of 86 in a class 2 event with horses like Racy, Horseradish, Monsieur joe all behind that day. Races now off a 16lb lower mark than that and has to be considered in with a chance. Has to race vs italian Tom again but gets 7lb better terms for the 7L defeat LTO. This is the lowest rating it has ever ran off so for me its worth a shout at these big odds 20/1 Paddy power

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary 6.10 Windsor GOWER RULES runs off a decent mark here having won off 60 here last term and als ran well here recently. Back up to 1m 4f which should also help. The apprentice takes another 3lb off to run off a handy 54 tonight 7/1 Paddy Power 6.40 SKY GARDEN is the best backed horse in the race and Haggas juveniles still running well 5/4 8.10 TOP DIKTAT possibly has further scope and can score here for Stoute/More. Rarely does Moore leave without a winner at this track and 3/1 not a bad price in a race where possibly only 2 others considered for me. 8.40 RYSBRACK looks a big price on what it achieved last year and has course jockey specialist Hughes in the saddle 14/1 all win bet singles

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary sorry missed the last 2 weeks due to working long hours tonight, ive just got in but looked at the 8.10 ON KHEE is too big IMO at 20/1, it has course form and although fairly unproven on ground this heavy, it has some form on easier ground. I always like horses that come back here every year as thier trainers / oweners target this track and these monday night meetings. Now with Martin Pipe after a few hurdles efforts this term, and better back at this sort of trip but should nt be inconvenienced by the ground as will stay further 20/1 is a big price and ive covered EW !! (paddy power)

ran really well after being held up and i felt had the jockey been a tad braver, may have given the winner something to think about, 3rd ensures a return and it drfited nicely to 33/1 !! :)

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary too many other things going on to get involved tonight but have managed a win single in the last race on SATWA LAIRD who now looks primed to win. Has ran creditably on previous 2 starts and appears well fancied tonight. I took 7/1 earlier with Paddies but have no idea if its been any bigger today. The head turner is on board just like LTO so hopefully this time she can get it home

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary It's back and hopefully better than last year when i didnt pay it enough attention usual rules apply, i will loom at each Monday night card in detail and hopefully pinpoint some eyecatchers for future meetings Obvious things about Windsor for me are to follow Hannon / Hughes Combo and also look at front runners on faster ground and dont rule out course winners. Another thing i like is to follow Newmarket maiden runners here so anything with that in its form line will possibly be a selection The bets will vary but i will show singles for P/L Tonights card will be up in next half an hour

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary 5.30 Hannon scored here with a juvenile last week in the Monday afternoon meetings and this is another that looks bred to win a sprint. Hughes gets the leg up on JIVE and i fully expect it to be too good even for those who have run to date, the best of which is dascombe's 2yo. Hoku has been well backed so Jive still an attractive price. 6.00 These are tricky races and one horse with the Newmarket maiden run is PEARL CASTLE who is trained by Andrew balding who has a fair record here. The bottom one Khelec is 50/1 and i cant see why, happy to have a saver on that one who has run ok albeit on much softer ground last season. ZAMOYSKI looks the best bet with Moore riding for Noseda. Moore is another who rides this track really well. Hannons Sea Shanty is yet to prove it will get a mile, so best watched for me today. 6.30 Last year i wrote: one horse i have seen a few times is JACK MY BOY for David Evans. This is the outsider of 10 in this race at 20/1 however i hope i can make a good case for it here as i need a big price one to get my windsor confidence going!! This is the lowest rating it has ever ran off so for me its worth a shout at these big odds I am convinced this one can win here this season and will look out for it each week. Claimer takes 5lb off its rating of 82. But it couldnt win off 70 last year so may need a few more pounds off unless David Evans has it fired up. Its possibly the most competitive on the card tonight but i would have a go at DEMOCRETES also for Hannon.Hughes as its form from last year looks good. 7.00 We have 3 horses with Newmarket maiden runs to their names, Furibondo, Kings Request and Endura. I wouldnt be betting here with a short fav in the race although 2nd string Kings Request may be the one that follows the fav home. 7.30 2 from last year Aldwick Bay and Man of plenty would be the 2 i would go with especially with the course form. ALDWICK BAY possibly the one i would favour, only 2lb higher than when winning here last term. 8.00 havent looked in detail yet so may come back. Will put bets up in a while possibly try to hit a double tonight

Re: Bowles' Windsor Monday nights diary Dascombe won the 1st and led all the way, Jive missed the break and was never going as good as Hannons normally do, possibly a bit green so maybe next time for that one. The 2nd & 3rd should go on the list for noting also. Kidmenot & Hoku.
